Those are all classics, but John Mayer is probably the best modern day guitar player. I know that his songs are an acquired taste, but his ability to play guitar is on par with the best of the best. Watch the Crossroads series, and Mayer pops up with Clapton, Paisley, and Urban. Clapton says Mayer is on his list of all time favorites and is a master on guitar.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Mayer's solo on "slow Dancing in a Burning Room"

I had Dish it was 170 for my bundle.

I have YTTV now and its 110 for internet and TV.

Not to mention no contract, no huge dish on my house, no dvr rental fee, unlimited DVR, and I can take it with me if I want. Not sure how I got dooped

If you like paying more,…

If you like paying more, contracts, and interrupted service, than yes stick to the chord.

I had Dish prior to YTTV.

Dish: $90 for basic, 40 for Internet, 5 for landline, bunch of fee's another $10. Throw in netflix and prime another $20. Total of around 170. Not to mention a huge dish on the side of my home, rental fee for a DVR box, and the weather interrupts service.

YTTV: $50 for service, no contract, unlimited DVR, no DVR rental, no service calls, no dish on the side of my home. $60 for internet. Add in prime and netflix and its 130 vs 170. Pretty simple call imo.

Thank you for the post.

Thank you for the post.

RB- A- if you count Evans coming back as part of this group. Otherwise solid B-. Corum is not a homerun hitter, but has great vision, toughness, and ability to catch the ball.

DT- D Jenkins is 240ish, going to take at minimum two years to get him to 275-80. Maybe Aaron Lewis slides down to 3tech and I'd only give this group a C.

S- Not sure I am convinced Morant is a stud. He is a big bodied kid, and wasn't super impressive on the circuit. I could see him sliding into the viper position. He is already pushing 215, plus he was injured this year. Paige is a Jarod Wilson clone. I like him alot, but his frame is huge, could become a WILL if he adds weight. If not I like him at SS.

Wait, what?

Last couple years of LC brought us Mike Hart, Jake Long, TT, Manningham, Adrian Arrington, Henne, Mallett, Jamison, Crable, Branch, Morgan Trent, Bass, Slocum, Graham, Schilling, Mouton, Stevie Brown, Warren, Hemmingway, Van Bergan, Molk

His last four years

2003 #1 BIG, #3 nationally

2004 #1 BIG, #6 Nationally

2005 #1 BIG, # 5 Nationally

2006 #2 BIG, #10 Nationally

2007 #1 BIG, #10 Nationally

WTF?

What a loser take.

What a loser take.

Harbaugh almost lost at home to a 3 win Army team, savior!

Carr is, and will forever be, better than Harbaugh. Sh*t, the dude can't win a single game against OSU, One. We want to talk about Carr in the same light as Harbaugh? The dude who has never finished better than 2nd in his division, 1-3 in bowls, 2-11 v top 10, 0-5 v OSU.

LC his first two years knocked off #1 and undefeated OSU. Dude sucks! Before I get the, well they weren't as good. STFU. Eddie George, Oralnado Pace, Winfleid, Springs, Glenn, Boston, Vrabel, Katzenmoyer to name a few.

Harbaugh is a fraud. Who cares what he did at Stanford or SF? It doesn't magically give us wins. Credit to him, we are a much better program than we were, now get out of the way and give a stronger program to someone who can take it next level.

Jake Ryan and Pat O'Mahmah worked out well for us.

Next years #1 player in the country, from Ohio, also committed to OSU.

Paris Johnson is the #7 player in the country. Zach Harrison was the #12 player in the country last year. This year they had 17 players in the top 500 players in the country. Last year they had 22 players in the top 500 in the country, including 4 in the top 100.

It is still a very good state, and next years class is loaded.

Part of the history of the…

Part of the history of the rivalry is Ohio kids going to UM. For some reason we have taken our foot off the gas in Ohio.

The talent remains in Ohio, probably the fifth best football state in the country. Put it this way, OSU has commits in the 30's and 40's from state ranked kids.

Next years class is loaded in Ohio, and OSU has commits from four of the top 5, and probably the 6th rated is going to OSU. If we are lucky we get Kiner.

We don't have a single Ohio kid who is seeing significant playing time. When is the last time that happened?

Well said.

You don't make it to the league being slow. Being put in bad situations, doesn't mean you're slow. Always hated he got beat up so badly for having a bad game against OSU. So did the rest of the team. Gary sure didn't look like a top 15 pick, and generated so push against OSU. Winovich was nowhere to be seen in that game, and all are playing in the NFL.

Yes, it is like listen to a…

Yes, it is like listen to a Grandpa, very accurate. Someone who can't do something but swears they can.

Listen, I like Brandy on color, but his PBP is awful. Why in the world Michigan doesn't want someone who is at minimum competent, is very odd.

They need to get someone who can at minimum keep up with the pace of play.

My question is outside of a…

My question is outside of a few positions, has Harbaugh really recruited any better?

QB-Yes, Shea Dylan etc

RB-Yes Higgy, ZC

WR- Yes Black, Nico, DPJ, Bell/ Funchess, Chesson, Darboh all NFL, but depth sucked

OL- Push? Glasgow, Bredeson, Kalis, Mags, Braden/Runyon, Ruiz, Big Mike, etc?

TE- Slight Harbaugh maybe- Butt is still Butt, so I guess for depth I'll give it to Harbuagh

DT- Hoke by a long shot-Mo, Willie, Glasgow

DE- Hoke- Winovich, Taco, Worm, Frank Clark

LB- Slight Harbaugh due to Bush

Viper- Hoke? Peppers

DB-Push? Hill and Long/Lewis Stribs Clark

S- Hoke Wilson, DT, D.Hill

Just not sure we've taken much of a step forward on D if not a small step back, while offense is imo better. Kind of traded one for the other

If we are being honest, why…

If we are being honest, why is Gary on this list?

Taco was far better than Gary at the college level.

Ross isn't better than McCray or Gedeon.

Chesson could easily be above Collins

DT Henry, Mo, and Glasgow were the best

Outside of a few Harbaugh guys, Hole is proven to be as good if not better recruiter

Another classic case of no…

Another classic case of no actual research and not actually diving into the numbers.

BTW, nice -81 score.

MC the past two years is 18-11 at ISU, which as the Rutgers of the Big 12, is the equivalent to winning 10 at Michigan. Not to mention he's beat #3 Oklahoma, #4 TCU, and #6 WVU in three years.

BTW, MC has more top 25 wins on the road at Toledo than Harbaugh at Michigan.

While we are on Harbaugh, lets us not forget his to sub .500 years at Stanford. Since he is the savior. Everything he touched turns to gold.

Let us not forget the mighty Nick Saban at MSU. Five years and it took him until year 5 to win more than 7 games. In fact his record was 34-24 at MSU.

and people were creaming…

and people were creaming themselves when we signed Green.

Brady Hoke, not Jim Harbaugh…

Brady Hoke, not Jim Harbaugh, brought in the highest rated class we've had at Michigan since LC.

Hoke had two top ten recruiting classes, same as Harbaugh. Stop posting.

I love how so many can see…

I love how so many can see into the future and know coach X would fail, well, because they aren't Harbaugh.

Aside from back-to-back 8-5…

Aside from back-to-back 8-5 seasons at freaking ISU, the dumpster of the Big 12.

MC wins over #3 Oklahoma, #4 TCU, and #6 WVU in three years.

Not to mention he has more top 25 road wins than Harbaugh while at Toledo.

You're an absolute idiot.

You're an absolute idiot.

Rich Rod was within a few minutes of playing for a national title. This isn't at all the same story as Campbell or Hoke.

Hoke had a losing record overall before he came here, at two mid-level stops.

Matt Campbell beat Oklahoma.

You know this how?

You know this how?

Jesus you may the most doom…

Jesus you may the most doom and gloom poster I've ever read. You must be a treat to be around. Your takes are incredibly one sided.

Campbell has beaten more top 10 teams in three years than Harbaugh has in five (#3 Oklahoma with Baker Mayfield, #4 TCU, #6 WVU). He has beaten more top 25 teams on the road while at Toledo, than Harbaugh has at Michigan.

MC is at Iowa State, the dumpster of the Big 12. Winning 8 at ISU is the equivalent to winning 10-11 at Michigan.

Do a tad bit of research. Geesh

What has Harbaugh accomplished at Michigan? Don't feed me the Stanford, or San Fran history. None of that matter at Michigan. BTW, Lovie Smith also coached in the Super Bowl. Huray!

Here is a thought, sell your tickets for the game(s) that you find to be too difficult to attend.

I am betting if UM wins that MSU night game, you probably wouldn't care what time you got home.

Went to Under the Lights II, I live an hour from A2, and knew it would be crazy, so I was an adult and got a hotel room 20 minutes out of A2. I partied until late in the night with friends, than got a cab to the hotel. Still the best game atmosphere I've ever been a part of.

If it isn't OSU, noon games are a joke.

They had us losing to…

They had us losing to Nebraska at home last year btw

The "participation" culture…

The "participation" culture started in the late 80's. Who created that? It still exists today, so who is responsible?

My father wasn't present for a good portion of my childhood, hence he was serving. He came back pretty beat up, did very little raising. I had a wonderful mother.

I doubt your sons bosses are telling them to suck his bleep. Again, that doesn't work in real world outside of .00001 professions. I wouldn't work for someone who told me that. Pretty simple. Doesn't make me soft, makes me a normal rational human.

Again, it is a Title IX violation, so it was going to be most likely brought, and you might want to wait to actually ready what is in the brief. Probably not the only time he told someone something similar.

With all this being said, thanks for your service.

What does the military have…

What does the military have to do with anything? The solution is the military for not filing a lawsuit? Seriously? That's your response? You can't really believe what you're spewing?

Boot camp has about .0001% correlation to on-boarding in any civilian job. That was your suggestion. I was well prepared to work in my current field without boot camp, and I can communicate with the patient and related medical professionals without telling them to suck my bleep. That language is pretty much reserved for about .0000000001% of the professional world.

What fact are you sharing. Cool, 80% of the jobs in the military correlate to civilian jobs. What does it have to do with anything?

Your backhanded comment in regards to society is the only real point you're making. We get it, you think society is soft. Here is the thing, the society we live in, your generation created. Talk to yourself on that one.

I appreciate my fathers service, I lived it with him seeing him come home broken and unable to get services he needed. Five back surgeries later he is disabled, and swore to me if I even thought of joining the military he kick my butt himself. So there you go.

Lastly, there is most likely more to the story, and this specific player probably isn't the only one he said something to. I am sure if he wouldn't have brought legal action against the coach, someone would.

It is an easy Title IX…

It is an easy Title IX violation, so universities take those pretty serious (or should).

Are you really suggesting this happens all the time at the high school level and there is no consequence?

Literally took me two seconds to find 100's of articles refuting your claim. Ron English anyone?

https://www.coachayers.com/blog/2014/6/18/swearing-and-leadership

Title IX violation.

Title IX violation.

My father did, hence read…

My father did, hence read what I wrote. I was a Marine brat.

Again, you're comparing a sport, to the armed services, which isn't relevant. Essentially any profession outside of very few have a direct comparison to how the military operates.

I didn't need the military to be a decent human, and develop attributes like discipline, respect, a great work ethic, or accountability.

There is no lane to stay in, it is a simple thought process. If your solution is everyone should serve, well I am not sure we will ever see eye to eye. Your generation created the "trophy for participation", so speak to your generation and re-examine how you chose to celebrate participation.

Are you really advocating for the coach? The player should be okay with being told that because in the military that is how it goes? Out of touch my friend. I'm a CRNA, and pretty sure if I'm in the operating room and someone says that, HR is involved and someone is fired. That's the real world.

You're missing the point, the coach, your generation, is the one in the wrong. Telling the player he needs to go to the military so he can process a grown adult telling him to suck his bleep in a professional setting, is pretty grotesque.

I wouldn't personally bring legal action, but this is a clear Title IX violation. Evident you're not really hip to that.

I always love the military…

I always love the military response, as if the military cures everything. My father was Marines Recon, served in Desert Storm, and can't string together a sentence without two F words in it. He had a horrible time adjusting to civilian life, and still does. The public sector doesn't operate like the military, so not sure how this cures anything. Making this about player is fairly comical.

While we are talking military, try looking suicide rates of former military members, see how that makes you feel.

How about the coach try and be a decent human. This is sports, not war.

My question is what would an SOP say if an outside force could essentially shut down your firing ability? What good are weapons that can't fire? What good is your defense if you can't defend?

My point, no one outside of very small circle knew about an atomic bomb, until we did. No one knew about stealth technology until we did.

The research suggests that…

The research suggests that we may be alone in the observable universe, not that there is no intelligent life in the universe, two different things. Since we can only observe less than 4%, and observation is nothing more than piecing together photos of distant galaxies, pretty much all this says is we are probably alone in the milky way. To suggest that we are alone is not the result, but rather that we should have been able to get some sort of communication in the observable universe.

I don't have a feeling one way or the other. To think we are alone, imo, is very silly. The probability almost assures that we aren't alone.

We've gone from horse and buggy to sending people to Mars in a hundred years.

To assume that we somehow gained knowledge at a rate unseen in 100 years is as likely as Santa being real.

Will we ever know? Who knows. To dismiss that someone not of this galaxy, who probably has 100, 1000, even 100,000 year head start on us hasn't  figured out the ability to manipulate time and space, well, just think what we thought was impossible just 100 years ago.

Pros: Beautiful lakes basically all around you. Very diverse. A lot of room when you purchase a home. Cost of living is very reasonable. You can get the wooded lot feel basically most places. A lot of fishing, water sports, and kid friendly lakes and parks. 35-40 minutes to A2, 45 to Detroit, 2 hours to Grand Rapids. You know enough people but not everyone. Safe. Great place to raise a family, good schools, really good high school football. Food options are solid.

Cons: Weather of course (it's Michigan). Not really a developed downtown area, like a Rochester, more like Troy. The lakes. I love the lakes but no good way to get anywhere due to the lakes. Nightlife is basically zero due to no real downtown. Wants to be Bloomfield Hills or Birmingham.
