I really like your list...I might swap out Jake Ryan for Peppers at linebacker though
Edit: Actually probably Ryan for Hudson. Not accounting for weak side, middle or strong side, I just really liked how Ryan played and would put him in starting three
Devin Gardner would be the best QB in Michigan history (statistically) behind a decent offensive line and in a competent offensive system. Easily.
Maybe put Denard in as an H-Back type? He should make this list but maybe give him his own position. Sort of like putting Peppers on offense.
Also I think Nico Collins has to make this list. I don't care who the QB is this year, he will have a monster season.
Yeah I’m not comfortable with Denard as QB. Phenomenal player. Definitely deserves to be on this list. But the kid was a liability as a passer. His legs kept defenses honest and he was still a turnover machine. I personally value taking care of the football. 24 picks in his final year and a half at QB scares me off.
Borges had a bit to do with that. Denard was not a liability passing his sophomore year
Thats funny you mention that i'm debating fans on the Detroit Free Press about the article saying Nico is one of the best returning wideouts in college football. They are saying no way because he only caught 30+ balls and had 700 yards as if the QB throwing him those passes has nothing to do with a completed catch. I basically said Jeremy Gallon although extremely productive wasn't considered one of the best in the nation despite catching like 80+ and over 1300 yards. I said if Gardner was throwing to Nico he would've been a 1000 yard reciever. This guy is trying to say he'd take Shea over Gardner anyday. I had to laugh, Shea Patterson could only dream of the type of performance Gardner had against OSU in 2014 almost single handedly winning the game on one leg. 20 yard average per catch and 700 yards is pretty good for an absolute abysmal offense for half a season, including a game against Army where they didn't even trust Shea to throw the ball.

PR- Jabrill Peppers
He was on the team in 2011 practicing so that's why I included him. Honestly my second team choice was Peppers and I originally had him as first team not because we always used him on KR but because we SHOULD have always used him on KR.
Norfleet gets over looked because he never housed one.
Id swap Roundtree for Darboh - more productive as upperclassmen
Ruiz for Molk - 1st rd center
Glasgow for Onwenu
Willie Henry for Mike Martin - just cuz
Delano Hill for Kovacs - more of a ball hawk, tempted to go Dymonte Thomas just for team speed
Stribling for Long
Have to keep those LBs. They’d be light against Wisconsin, but the blitzing and coverage skills are unreal.
Agree to disagree on Stribling over David Long. Absolutely not. Channing was serviceable, whereas David Long RARELY was beaten that I can remember. He certainly wasn't the being tested in any of the OSU games.

You have a right to your opinion of course, but I have to ask if you're sure about leaving Denard off? Maybe not at quarterback, but he's gotta be somewhere.
Based on the O-line I think Higdon could take more hits and get 4-5 yards more consistently then Denard (Higdon did have home run ability). Also, I would have Harbaugh as coach and I think DG could be what Luck, Smith, and Kap were as mobile and able to run but good pocket passers.
gardner at QB, robinson at RB, collins for hemingway, ruiz at C, glasgow/onwenu tough battle at G so im good either way, jake ryan for hudson.
i might add delano hill at S though the others were productive for longer. there could be some arguments at DL but thats a strong front 4. schofield struggled at times and runyan entered the discussion with 2 solid seasons (after nd) but schofield takes it. and mason cole could push his way in
Two players on the current roster who would be on my team, If the rules allowed, are McGrone for Khaleke and Collins for Roundtree.
On a side note, How much money would you have won had you bet that Mike Danna (5th 162) would get drafted ahead of Onwenu (6th 182), DPJ (6th 187) Runyan (6th 192) Mettelus (6th 205) Glasgow 6th, 213) and Vert FA?

Peppers at RB? Am I the only one that hated Michigan continually wasting downs bringing him in the red zone to gain like 2 yards?
HC- Harbaugh
QB- Gardner. Was a toss-up between him and Denard, and Denard is a truly special athlete, but I think Harbaugh could've worked wonders with Gardner if he'd gotten his hands on him for 1-2 years. Gardner played like a first rounder when he was on his game, and his OSU performance was the stuff of legend.
RB- Denard. Higdon was considered, but you need to get the best athletes you have on the field, and find a way to get the ball in their hands. You could line Denard up in so many positions, and having to account for both him and Devin to potentially take off and run is a tough ask for any defense.

C- Molk. He was the best center in America, and that counts for something

S- Delano Hill? Not sure, our safeties over the past ten years have been very unremarkable. Hoping Daxton changes that.
