The guy has mad skills.

and I thought, "Man, he just pulled a Woodson"

Seriously, though, great pick. Nice to see Leon Hall playing so well.

and your comment reminded me of Woodson's pick against Colorado in 97:

won't last long on youtube. NFL is notoriously tough enforcing this type of stuff.

They are also notorious for putting up crappy quality videos that are prefaced by a 30 second commercial. F U NFL.com.

I can be extremely happy for him on this play because my Falcons pulled it out. And I didn't see the game so I'm not sure how much of Roddy White going off was against Hall.
October 25th, 2010 at 12:15 AM ^
From what I saw/heard it was more Trent not Hall responsible for White having a huge game.

Thanks for posting.

But nothing in a Bengals UNI can be called pretty.

He stayed at the WR's hips and turned his head as soon as the WR sees the ball. Great job of covering and an even better catch!
October 24th, 2010 at 8:22 PM ^
but he gave up some coverages early he had no business giving up!
October 24th, 2010 at 8:31 PM ^
Hall covered really well and it was a tight coverage with Hall staying with the WR's hips all the way through.
October 24th, 2010 at 8:47 PM ^
The pass was intended for former Ohio State reciever Michael Jenkins. Michigan FTW.

Gus Johnson = awesome
October 24th, 2010 at 10:05 PM ^
YESSSSSSS GUS JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Leon Hall What Up?"
Awwww, I thought he said what up. It was went up.
October 25th, 2010 at 9:45 AM ^
Gus Johnson makes watching anything more interesting. I would be willing to watch every March Madness game on tape delay if it meant Gus got to do all of them.

If Hall didn't play for the Bengals, I think he would be in the discussion as the best DB in the league. Nothing against Revis and Asomugha, but Hall has been dynamic since he joined the league.
October 25th, 2010 at 12:16 AM ^
How about nothing against defensive POY Charles Woodson?????
October 25th, 2010 at 10:47 AM ^
True. My apologies for the oversight.
October 25th, 2010 at 12:55 AM ^
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that was nasty!
October 25th, 2010 at 1:06 AM ^
The color guy used the perfect adjective for that one, "tremendous!"
October 25th, 2010 at 1:33 AM ^
Watching that, it was one of the first times I've really understood what people mean when they talk about fluid hips. Hall makes it look so easy to go from backpedaling to running, and stays glued to the WR.

Great play Leon!
