Just when you thought it couldn't get weirder........ Is that Stalions on the CMU sidelines?

Central played at State on the Friday night before Michigan's opener with East Carolina. Is this Connor Stalions on the Central sidelines, credentialed, and wearing Central gear?

He's at the game studying signs for future reference?

Is this our beloved Connor with a wig? Video:

Maybe it's not him. But the debate is raging. Is it him?

Sooooo, if it is him, how is it he's wearing Central gear on the Central sidelines? How does that happen? Seems odd.

But hey, maybe it's not him.

I think I speak for a lot of people right now:

This appears to be one of the things that Michigan insiders were warning us would come out. It explains why Michigan isn’t using the “grey areas” defense — Stalions also scouted games himself directly. But, according to them, Stalions was acting alone — so this does not change the fundamental nature of the story.

That might be the claim, but you want to be able to show (I) we have appropriate compliance policies in place (ii) we regularly instruct and update staff on those policies (iii) we monitor compliance through an appropriate process (iv) we self-report any issues we uncover (v) despite our best efforts we had no idea we had a lunatic on staff.

I don't see why being on the sideline would be preferred over filming from the stands -- unless he's wearing spy glasses that records video, lol. It seems substantially more risky, and would accomplish substantially less (with no video). Unless he's just a sign savant who can memorize everything at first glance from across the field.

This all has kind of jumped the shark now. It's just funny-bad.

Sure, but you gotta admit this Stallone Rocky kid turned Mission Impossible character in CMU hat wearing sunglasses at 8:30pm in East Lansing looks pretty diabolically suspicious.

Can't wait to see what's in store for our daily dose on Halloween.  Insanely comical.

Can you imagine if Harbaugh was actually in on a plot to send Stalions in a disguise with a sideline pass to steal signs from MSU?

This either (1) isn't Stalions (2) proves he went rogue on his own, or (3) is the dumbest plot ever concocted by a coaching staff.

2- Just give him the chair and call it a day.

Edit:  Confirmed by Brian that this is in fact Stalions.  He also mentioned, Michigan nor CMU knew his presence there and he "got a sideline pass and showed up in full CMU gear and snuck into the restricted area."

DUMBASS- the chair NOW!

I am sure there was and is quite a bit of cross-pollination between Michigan and CMU seeing that McElwain was an assistant coach at Michigan for a period of time.  And they are two schools in the same state, it's highly likely a lot of people on both teams know each other.  It probably wasn't difficult at all for CS to get a sideline pass with his own doing.  He didn't need Harbaugh, Minter, Moore, etc, to get him in.

Brian’s confirmation says he snuck into a restricted area. The guy pictured is wearing the specific pass for the bench. Maybe he snuck in by switching passes with someone or something. Brian seems definitive. If it’s true there are only 50 bench passes issued each game and they are numbered it seems like CMU would know who this guy is quickly. Starting with asking the 3 guys in identical shirts around him. “Hey! Who was that dude you were standing with right there?” Seems easy enough.

Who fucking cares?  The kid was trying hard to get ahead.  And he wasn't stealing for us but using his knowledge to help McElwain.

What about Tressel and Dantonio colluding to keep any recruit to go to Michigan.  I mean, the entire state of Ohio was shut out, and this isn't a coincidence.

We're allowed to collude, too.

Yeah I can't figure out what you gain by being on the sidelines vs being in the stands. If you really wanted to do this, wouldnt you stand on the MSU sideline so that you could get more intel?

If you're standing on the CMU sideline then it makes it seem like you're doing that to help CMU coaches decipher signals.

Can we please fast forward to the end?

Just get to the mic drop already.  I don't care who drops it, just drop the fucking mic.

Everyone keeps saying this but literally nothing new has actually come out.

It's this same dude.

Stop fucking posting shit about this, stop worrying about this, and chill out.

We're probably looking at potential Natty this year, and Sherrone Moore or Jim as HC going into 2024, and ferret-strangling continues.

Everything is fine. Get off twitter.
