Don't be so sour, they looked great today dismantling a very good wisconsin team, and did what we couldn't do, close out the win.

I think the definition of "closing out a win" is ending up with more points next to your name than there are next to the other team's name.

Seriously? Closing out a win is when you go up by 15 points you never let the other team think they have a chance, wisconsin, a better team than osu never got closer than 6 in the second half while for the second game in a row michigan had to hang on and pray for a missed shot to finish the game. When looking at who is playing better it is clear that over the first two games it has been msu. It means jack shit for today but msu has played better than us so far this week, its ok to admit it.
And I will just laugh off their bragging to the tournament with my one seed, big ten title, and beating them twice this season when it mattered most.

That aside, this game is one of the reasons I hate the BTT. Totally meaningless game that will now take on some apparent meaning and if we lose it will be the only thing that Sparty and the pundits talk about.

8-0 in the last games decided by 5 or less. We're 19-3 in the last 22 games. In our losses we got behind big and couldn't catch up. In a couple of the wins we were well behind and clawed back for a win. The blowing a big lead to make the game close thing is weird and unpleasant.
We'll have to shoot well from outside to win this one, that could be the equalizer given their advantage at rebounding and inside play. If we come out firing blanks I'll be distraught.
We're better than they are.

0-3 is a lot worse than 2-1. The pressure is on them. However, they will be out for blood. This is a Final 4 type game for our guys. It will be a great game heading into the NCAA.
A win would be really, really sweet tomorrow and I'll cheer has hard as the next guy, but there will still be excuses for an MSU loss..."they haven't played together long enough" or some sort of BS. Seeing Sparty brag about the winning the BTT would only emphasize how far they've fallen and would make me laugh.

Michigan has beaten MSU 6 of the last 8 times they've played, so if they win tomorrow, it will be 7 of 9.
