6 weeks 3 days ago MSU

That was the only team to beat us. Sorry, but a 20pt loss isn't close enough up even have a remote shot o saying it was the refs.

6 weeks 4 days ago Damn

Smith is a round Mugsy Bogues

6 weeks 4 days ago Potential

I had this matchup picked in my bracket solely on potential. When we are on and playing go our potential, we win. Scary thing is that we haven't seen a game yet this tourney where everyone is really on. Versus Syracuse it didn't seem like anyone was on. We just did enough to win.

Louisville is a much better matchup for us. Their guards are a more manageable size for Burke. With that being said, early in the game he needs to drive the lane and dish to the shooters. Or pick and roll game with McGary. Get Dieng with a couple fouls and it opens the lane up for us. Defensively, we need to lock down Smith. Their other shooters aren't as scary as he is. Smith ja their Fair. That being said, I think Michigan wins fairly easy. 79-68

6 weeks 4 days ago Duh

It was obviously a charge. That's what the refs called. There was a whole lot of contact out of the 'Cuse guards on the press that wasn't called too. So maybe that was a give back. Who knows/who cares. The final scoreboard said we have more points. End of the night that's what counts. Go BLUE!!!

6 weeks 4 days ago Stupid question

Why is an OFFENSIVE foul not a shot for us?

6 weeks 4 days ago Suck it

Boeheim and Williams can suck a big fat one. There's a ton of contact thy hasn't called

6 weeks 4 days ago ?

So levert had more contact than Williams? Seriously ref?

6 weeks 4 days ago Geeze

Could half-time last any longer????? Why yes, I am impatient.

6 weeks 4 days ago Calming down

I'm calming down a lot. The team is playing more and more like the team we've all been hoping to see all year. Now I'll get antsy during the 2nd half guaranteed. But these guys are playing so well right now. Optimism fellas!!!!

6 weeks 4 days ago 2-3 What???

Well, poor shot to end it. But, we have to love the way our offense adjusted to the zone. McGary being a 6'10 PG helps a ton. 20 minutes from the championship game!!!!

6 weeks 6 days ago Haven't gotten it yet

I have several other Adidas shirts, that aren't traditional cotton, and they are cut small normally. Ill find out Saturday when mine gets here.

7 weeks 5 hours ago Agreed

This point is how I have always felt. They get more academic support than an average undergrad. They have access to better facilities. Don't the athletes have access to their own specific nutritionist? I seem to recall pics if Pipkins' prepared meals over the summer. And think of this, there are numerous scholarship athletes who will play in college and never go anywhere beyond that athletically. Every scholarship player has access to the same resources. It's not just the "elite" athletes. If you want to pay athletes, do you set it up based on their perceived "worth?" Do you have agents negotiating deals for their star players? Yes certain players, AT EVERY SCHOOL, have a brighter athletic future, and the respective University may use them as a marketing focal point because of this. The norm is the best athletes are the most popular. As fans, if you're upset with athletes not getting paid because the University is selling their jersey, don't buy their jersey. Then the University isn't making the money off of them. And the athlete isn't "losing out."

7 weeks 5 hours ago It wasn't my hand

It was your moms hand doing the rubbing.

7 weeks 2 days ago What part?

I live in Columbia. I like frequenting Carolina Ale House downtown because of the rooftop bar.

7 weeks 3 days ago No feeding

We don't need to loin it to him. But his emergence gives us another weapon

7 weeks 3 days ago I am worried

Syracuse is a scary matchup. They're long, play D, and score in transition. If we can get Timmy a few early/easy buckets I'll be a little more comfortable. Not a basketball guru, but isn't attacking the foul line the best way to break the zone?

I feel that McGary emerging is our key. With him being reliable on the interior it gives us five good options, and that is why we are rounding into an elite team. There seems to be.a vibe coming from Michigan that we're "that team." The one who's hot, and seems destined to win. 2 more to go. Michigan by 8 over 'Cuss

7 weeks 4 days ago Damn

One thing I do hate about the play-in round, is that's its always teams who are conference champions. Make the "Last 4 In" play those games, and let the teams who won their conferences automatically go to the field of 64. Like their berth is supposed to be.

7 weeks 4 days ago My ritual is about the same as yours.

Last night I stopped watching 5 minutes into the 2nd half and refused to turn it on until I saw Final/OT.

7 weeks 5 days ago I have to agree

I like our chances in this game a lot. We've played through adversity and prevailed. We got this.

7 weeks 5 days ago 3 Ball

I keep hearing that Michigan lives and dies by the 3. And in the comments above a couple people have mentioned being worried if Florida heats up from 3. Lets not forget: we shot 30% against VCU and won by 25 and 34% against Kansas. We shoot 38.3% on the year as a team and Florida is at 38.2%. So our shooters are as good as there's. We hit 45% against South Dakota. If we can shoot like that tomorrow, or even at 40%, we should feel pretty comfortable. It should be a hell of a game, and I think we match up well against them. I'll say, Michigan by 5. Go BLUE!!

7 weeks 5 days ago It's ok guys

I just turned the game off. I didn't watch the first 2 and we won. I guess I'm the jinx tonight. My bad.

8 weeks 2 hours ago Agreed

I wasn't saying that I wouldn't have taken the UCLA job if I had been him. He was the entire West Coast to recruit from, and he has the power of the UCLA name to draw on. Now that name isn't as strong as it was a decade ago, but it's still strong. And I agree with the Duke argument. You don't want to be the one who replaces the legend. You want to be the one who replaces the replacement. Look at Rich Rod. He wasn't coaching after Bo, but he was the first one to come from outside that coaching tree, so in a way he was the one taking us from that legend.

I also wondered about maybe Louisville or Syracuse. Pitino and Boeheim(misspelled?) are both getting older, and they are 2 programs that have been strong the last decade.

I wonder how much of the "grooming a replacement" really goes on. I seem to remember Muschamp being the rumored successor to Mack Brown. And Schiano was rumored to be tagged for Penn State.

8 weeks 7 hours ago Duke

I feel like there were rumors swirling the first year butler made a deep run that Stevens was going to take over Duke when K quits. That was one of the reasons that his name wasn't as prominent after their second deep run. I could be wrong though. Maybe Shaka is waiting in UNC. I imagine Williams is the closest to retirement.
