I saw both of those names and thought immediately of earthquakes. The destructive force that will be or football team this year

the Cavs Draft situation is exactly why it makes sense. You can offer the highest of the 3 potential picks. best case scenario is they end up with Love and 2 picks from 6-32. worse case is love and no picks. at least with love you get an established dominant post player. that is the one thing LeBron has needed all along.

I don't think the Cavs need to keep Wiggins. They should trade him, 1st round pick next year, 2nd in 2016 to the T-wolves for Kevin Love. I seem to remember an article where Love said he'd sign a long term deal with the Cavs if LeBron was there.

his SPARQ score is 10th. I remember him losing to Peppers in a high school race. does anyone know what Peppers SPARQ was last year?

that team was probably the most talented team we gave ever had. Burke and Hardaway Jr went in the first round last year. IF all 3 of them go in the first this year, that puts all 5 starters from the National Runner-Up going in the first round. Say Caris goes on the first next year, and that's 6 players that were drafted in the first round off 1 team.

Princess Leia in the gold bikini > Hermione Granger at any point in the series. So Start Wars wins.

I have a golden retriever who has the most amazing nose for the ball. When she has it she never lets it go. So, we'll say Mike Hart for her group on the ball.

I'm going to say this with a smile on my face. Fuck Canada. I hope your team gets their teeth knocked out. they have free healthcare anyway.

As a wins fan I despise the Blues second only to the Blackhawks. How are you not aware of one of their better players???

Scary thing is that we put up 75 points while shooting below 30% from deep. If we had hit 40% we would've dropped 90 on them.

we're giving him 1.7 million a year.

Look what he did at Clemson. Gardner= Boyd, funchess=a taller but slower watkins. we already had 2 of the highest paid coordinators. pay him 1.7 and watch the points fly. added bonus, he beat osu.
total pipe dream, but one can hope and imagine

I live in Columbia and he is the topic of many segments of the local sports talk radio and I am sick of hearing about this guy.
First: local fans justify the way he has played this year and excused it quite bit. Their argument is that he should have been allowed to enter the Draft after last year. I have a problem with this. South Carolina barely lost to Tennessee this year and Clowney was largely ineffective. If he actually played hard that gave, South Carolina ends up with only 1 loss and they would have played auburn for the SEC Championship. And who knows what could have happened then. That just screams that he's a selfish player who isn't worried about what really happens with his team.
Second: Clowney reminds me of Julius Peppers. None of us can deny that the physical tools are all there. Yes, his strength has been questioned. His conditioning is almost non-existent. Peppers had all the tools coming out of college too. His motor in the NFL has always been inconsistent.
That is the longest post I have ever made on this blog. Sorry if the grammar is off. I was typing when I was spotted at the traffic lights.

I would love to see him coaching the Lions D. That front 4 would be amazing.

I was impressed with that read he made there
|28 weeks 4 hours ago||Eh||
I don't feel it should be that way though. With just the talent on their roster they are a ready-made playoff team. Two good rbs, best receiver in football, top-8 qb(talent wise), one of the best d-lines in the game, and an improving o-line. There are WAY worse situations out there.

Schiano will get canned in Tampa. He's college material. especially with success at Rutgers

I would love to see the Lions take him to take the heat off Calvin.

So, what QB should the Lions be looking at mid first round come draft time?
|28 weeks 6 days ago||Disagree||
Closers are in no way overrated. What are you smoking? I will say that they are very fickle, and there is a high possibility of a bad year, but Closer is in no way overrated.
Koji in Boston, Wilson in San Fran, Romo their second time. Mo for the Yankees. Lidge for Philly. The year the cards won they didn't really have one standout. Every other Champ in the last 5 years had one.

Magnus, I love how you call people out and piss them off.
|29 weeks 6 days ago||My Guess||
Is that high level QBs don't want to be playing together. Most want the chance to have "their" team. There don't seem to be many teams that are getting 2 4-star QBs in a class. QBs can get drafted high from mid-level schools, so they don't have to go to one of the top-25 schools to have a shot of playing on Sundays. USC early 2000s is the last school I remember running out stud QBs year after year. That's just my uneducated take on it.

Historically Texas is a step up. There is more talent in Texas than in the Midwest. Meyer would be able to get even more speed from that state. No school would out bid Texas. Meyer's track record seems to be taking a team that's close to greatness, and pushing it over the top. That was what happened when he took over at Florida. That team was pretty much assembled, he added a few pieces, and put it over the edge. Look at OSU. He came in after Tressel, and essentially maintained the level they had been at. In the end, it is all just guess work until the shoe actually drops.
