Another way too early CFB 2016 top ten

Submitted by MgoBlueprint on

Dennis Dodd of CBS sports put together his Way too early top 10 list.

http://www.cbssports.com/video/player/collegefootball/599509571551/0/wa…

1. Clemson

2. Bama

3. OU

4. LSU

5. osu

6. Michigan

7. Baylor

8. Notre Dame

9. Michigan state

10. Houston

I really think that sparty and bama end up atleast 3-5 spots lower. Clemson returns a good bit of talent, but largely benefit from a weak conference slate which will allow them to sneak into the playoffs. I think the winner of the game this year will be the number one seed in the playoffs. Houston could be the new Boise. The Big 12 is the same ol' Big 12 and will probably be left out. In the ACC, I see the winner of Notre Dame-Clemson making the playoffs with FSU playing spoiler in some way.

So why not throw a prediction at the wall and see if it sticks. Im going with Michigan going 11-1, beating both ohio st. and Sparty on the road and losing to either Iowa or Wisconsin. I would go with 12-0, but I have to be realistic. /s

We're winning the national championship. I promise everyone here. Screenshot this, save it, whatever you want. Just remember that we're winning it.

Bama I get.. Clemson idk anything about them... OU I get... LSU I get... OSU I don't get... Michigan I don't get... MSU I DEFF DON'T GET...

OSU is replacing everybody... so is MSU... Michigan has no QB... kind of a big deal in preseason rankings especially being ranked that high no?

Bama just gets the Saban pass.

The teams around us (Other than Bama cuz well Bama) have big game changers on offense returning... Michigan on the other hand not really...

OU: Baker Mayfield

LSU: Leonard Fournette

OSU: JT Barrett

ND: Malik Zaire

Baylor: Seth Russell

Clemson: Deshaun Watson

So yeah in a sense having a baller starter returning would be beneficial for these rankings...

Brandon Harris could be a very good QB.  He has a good arm, thinks fast and can move the ball with his feet if he has to.  He was stuck in Cam Cameron's offense this year.  Miles has promised to modernize the offense a bit.  I have no idea what that means to him, but I hope it means throwing the ball when other teams just say "fuck it" and put nine men in the box to stop Fournette.

Barrett won't be as lethal without all them playmakers around him. They are some damn athletic dudes with a ton of experience that they are losing. Wowzers! I cant see their offense being anywhere close to as good as it has been the past 3 years. Not a chance.

I dont agree with this analysis. OSU is 50-4 under urban...you pretty much give them the bama treatment until he shows you they can't replace the talent they lose with their recruits. O'Korn has a documented track record (where he had a better season than Cook/Rudock as a freshman actually), so not sure if he goes in the "no qb" group.

missed getting into the playoff this year, so everyone defaults to the mythological narrative of SEC superiority, especially at ES(EC)PN.

What we need is for someone in the B1G to spank sparty the way Alabama did. Wouldn't mind if UM was that someone on the road next year.
