Isaiah Hole: Hold Steadfast....

Submitted by dbrhee on October 26th, 2023 at 8:51 PM

This has been the way I have approached it.. As many of us had state that all this does not add up... I commented about his video last night on one thread that teams are trading scouting information, etc.. I believe one of had posted a comment about that too...

At the end, his perception is what I thought.. There could be some consequence but not close to what the "media" are wanting and demanding it to be..

Colin Cowherd said it best. It is what I tell all of my OSU buddies. If Kirk Cousins was accused of deflating footballs it would be turned into a SNL skit. For Tom Brady it was the greatest scandal in NFL history. If Purdue was accused of what UM supposedly did, it might make the 8th story on an ESPN broadcast

I asked ‘what’s going on with Michigan Football?’

Response: I don't have access to real-time information as my knowledge is up to date only until January 2022. To get the latest information on Michigan football, I recommend checking a sports news website, official team sources, or a sports app for the most current updates on their performance and status.

Me: but I don’t care about sports news

Response: I understand, and that's completely fine.

Even Chat GPT gets it

Michigan football is currently under two NCAA investigations for alleged illegal sign-stealing and academic fraud²³. These allegations could have serious consequences for the program and its head coach Jim Harbaugh, who is in the final year of his contract extension².

Some possible ways that Michigan football can get out of this situation are:

- Cooperate fully with the NCAA and provide any evidence or information that can clear their name or mitigate the charges.

- Hire a reputable lawyer or firm to represent them in the legal process and challenge any unfair or inaccurate claims.

- Apologize publicly and sincerely for any wrongdoing or misconduct and take responsibility for their actions.

- Implement corrective measures and reforms to prevent any future violations or scandals.

- Focus on their on-field performance and try to win games and championships to restore their reputation and fan support.

Lot of words, no doubt. And I added to my total by combing the comments there, too. The couple of fairly important things I gleaned, though--amid an exhortation not to despair--were that there's more bad news to come, one, and that Warde and Singleton may be on friendly terms and somewhat allied (?) in their critique of Jim Harbaugh. If that's a cleavage with some history, then whoa.

Until we get more information, all the stories, narratives, spins are what they are.. Stories which could be have some factual information but could be as speculative and nonsensical.... Some interesting tidbits in there too about people in Michigan as a whole and we should speak out!

What exactly are we holding steadfast for?  I'm talking about each of us individually, not the program.  I'm willing to bet that 99 percent of the people who peruse this site are not affected by the investigation or much of anything that goes on in Schembechler Hall.

Everybody relax and go about your lives.  You're going to be fine no matter what happens.

Patrick O'Brian's series, known as the Aubrey-Maturin Series, is 20 or so books about the politics and events of the Napoleonic Wars from the perspective of His Majesty's Navy.  Quite possibly the most overrated pile of crap I've ever attempted to read.  I started with high hopes of some serious characters in historical settings, but by the end of the third book, I dropped any self-imposed pretense of enjoyment.  Characters are flatter than cardboard cutouts, except when they do inexplicable stuff.  Perfect for movies, indigestible for readers.

If you want an interesting series set in that period, consider
Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series.  They are at least plot driven, and what angleophile doesn't like books about shooting Frenchmen.
