I want the names of the refs of tonight's hockey game.

I'm serious. We have to make it public.

We've had several goals similar to that taken away from us this season. Is that normal? I mean for anyone that watches games not involving Michigan, is that the norm for play to stop when the puck is loose?

1. We won. FUCK THAT BULL SHIT CALL THAT GAVE MIAMI THE WIN. But of course like they have done in the past 7 games during our regular season they fuck us out of a win. 2. BULL SHIT OFFICIATING. Almost every fucking call went against in every fucking hit and trip that was clearly on their own weight. 3. We dominated in shots on goal but I as a hockey player know that the odds always favor the other side when the hotter side can't capitalize on great scoring opportunities. My proof of this: GAME 5 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs Wings vs Pens. Before the 3rd OT Detroit had so many chances and shots to end it but of all that work the fatigue set in and a tricky shot by Sykora wins the Pens the game. We did get cheated and I am extremely pissed off but I will not lash out against Miami for this loss. Both teams played to win it, we got fucked and they got the lucky shot. Hunwick stood on his head in the third and we had a power play to put the game away! I will be absolutely sickened as a hockey fan to see all of you root for Boston fucking College. You want BC to win another national championship so those Ivy league fuckers can brag about it and put on another fucking Mini series about it on NHL Network or ESPN?! FUCK THEM AND FUCK THAT. I sick of B fucking C. I hope the Redhawks tear them a new asshole. Neg bang away if you want but I will not root for Boston College ever, in hockey. But we got fucked and that is the aspect of this whole thing.

I want Boston College to rip Miami a new one and then lose a nail-bitter to RIT. And can anything they do on BC really be as bad as what will happen if Miami wins? We will never hear the end of their "tough game" against Michigan and how they "persevered" and "fought through" for their fallen team manager. No. I want people to remember that they were handed that game on a solver platter, and I want it to happen because Boston College made them look like a high school team. I can't stand their team because they got away with enough crap tonight than we normally tolerate the refs not calling in a whole month, AND THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT AT OUR EXPENSE. The only person with anything to do with them that I don't mind is Blasi. He's literally the only guy I have no bone to pick with. He's a great coach, a good sport (Can't say I've seen a coach interact with those of us behind the bench at Yost), and he's not personally responsible for his players committing a penalty or getting away with it. Everyone else wearing black, white, or red can go jump off a cliff.

Somebody that is representing the last team left in our conference lose to an snobby Ivy leauge school? Even though BC won their last national title back in 2008? Even though they have 22 trips to the Frozen Four? And also making the tournament 29 times? They have their fucking Beanpot game when they tell the world we beat Boston so I guess that makes us the best odd to win the whole tournament. No, Fuck Boston College and that city. I rather watch either RIT or Miami win. Be nice to see the CCHA shut those Ivy fuckers up.

They're already in the Frozen Four, so we can't do anything about their appearances going up. What's so bad them serving up a dish of karma to Miami and then losing it to RIT? Plus, I don't think comparing them to an Ivy League is appropriate, because if they had lost today, Miami literally would be playing an Ivy League. (Second part meant as a joke) ^

Sorry about being a dick, by why do you keep referring to BC as an Ivy league school? It's not even remotely close to (as in several tiers below) an Ivy league school academically, and as far as I know it doesnt play in any league that is only for the 8 Ivy League schools (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, and UPenn).

If I screw up my job, chances are I get fired, if not reprimanded. If they screw up their job, everything's right with the world. There is an angry Michigan hating god.

How do you blow the whistle instantly when a puck slides under the Miami keeper... but in the 2nd period when Hunwick is laying his whole pad completely over a puck, and is stationary, and you're 6 FEET AWAY with a clear view, you say "not yet... let's see where they're going with this"??? Quote from Gravallese: “You are only as good as your last game,” says veteran referee John Gravallese, who is in his 20th year on the job in Hockey East. “Now with video tape and constant evaluations, you are always held accountable.” http://www.uscho.com/news/college-hockey/id,9058/TheCalling#ixzz0jXIPeQ… Except he's not actually held accountable, because if he were, he wouldn't have been allowed to call this game after what he did on Saturday night. This is the best that HockeyEast has to offer?

Just fyi. You just need to know how to figure out which one he is. I'm not going to give you guys the number, but it's definitely findable via google if you know how to look.

I'm not doing anything (aside from punching a wall). The main thing that pisses me off is that there is a 99% chance that the NCAA WON'T do anything to punish him for being wrong. There is almost no accountability for refs and it's total bullshit. And there is basically nothing that we, as fans, can do.

You're still giving people the idea. Again, all it takes is one asshole to decide it's a good idea to start looking and you've got another six months of negative press for the school. That post should have been taken down, both here and on the game open thread. These people don't exist for your amusement. He fucked up, and I'm pissed too, but he knows it and probably feels like shit now. He'll get reviewed and reprimanded--which is what he deserves. He doesn't deserve people harassing him and his family.

Yeah, I know. I had actually come back to edit my post to be something different, but unfortunately you can't do that here when someone has replied to your post. And if he had felt like shit, he would have made some calls afterwards basically as make-up calls. Or at least called the few penalties against Miami that definitely happened and weren't called. Chances are he was like "Whoops LOL, Oh well, hope it all works out fine!"

That there is another Michigan hockey team right now and they are looking scary good in the NHL. I say we take all this anger and focus it towards the playoffs because the Wings have a certain Stanley Cup they would love to have back...

I am as big of a Wings fan as anybody on this board -- HOWEVER, what scares me is that "angry (state of) Michigan hating god" has me excited about the Wings after a season of mediocrity (at best)...I really hope I don't end up super disappointed, AGAIN Disclaimer: Mediocrity comment applies OCT-JAN and excludes Jimmy Howard

What bothers me the most is that not only should our OT goal have counted, but their 2nd goal was complete shit, too!!!! Why couldn't he blow the whistle that quickly when Hunwick ACTUALLY FUCKING COVERED IT (unlike fucking knapp).
