| 1 week 3 days ago | help |
gotcha. So I'm curious then, is there anything that those of us in Michigan can do to help out with this? |

With glacier, don't you have to not be frequently accessing the data? |

SPARTY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |

"They're one stop away from being bowl eligible for a school record six consecutive years" |
| 29 weeks 6 hours ago | Agreed :( |
Sparty could have iced the game with the pick six that was called back. What a Sparty, No! moment |
| 29 weeks 5 days ago | I think the refs were right on both calls |
Unfortunately, I think the refs ended up with both of the calls correct. On the Roundtree play, the ball definitely seems to hit the ground and shift a pretty decent amount. I think that's clearer of an incompletion than the Virginia Tech play last year (which I think the refs ended up being right on there too). On the Smith interception, I think however it was called on the field would stand. The way I'm thinking it worked (without the ball hitting the ground) was that basically the ball got squished between his hands and chest and then sprung out of there. On a brighter note, on the "maybe don't block Roh with a RB next time"... they may as well have not blocked him on that play. Holy shit that's impressive. |

I have seen numerous places report that. |
| 30 weeks 3 days ago | Triple Option |
For all that we're always saying "Michigan won't have to face another triple option team like Air Force this year"... wouldn't you go heavily triple option against Michigan if you're Nebraska? I mean, if I was their offensive coordinator, I'd look at Michigan's performance against Air Force and say "we have better players than Air Force. Imagine what we can do" and focus heavily on that. Am I just missing something? |
| 31 weeks 6 days ago | NCAA Rules |
Only thing I could see in NCAA rules that was related to this was: Rule 9-2, Article 1, subsection a-2-b-5 (I have no idea if that's how it actually would be designated, but that's what it looks like to me) PENALTY—Dead-ball foul. 15 yards from the succeeding spot [S7 and S27]. 5. Persons subject to the rules, including bands, shall not create any noise And rule 1-1-6 specifies who is subject to the rules: Persons Subject to the Rules |

Someone with an active reddit account should post this to /r/uofm and /r/Assistance |

| 35 weeks 6 days ago | Yes. |
Yes to both. I think we will be able to pass better against ND than MSU but may not have as good of a defensive performance. Whether that passing will be enough for a win.... who knows? And for MSU, this made me a little less scared of them, but still worried about them for sure. |

Man, you wouldn't wish this on anyone. Best wishes to him, and I hope the unconfirmed reports about his grandmother are wrong. |
| 36 weeks 5 days ago | Eastern Michigan Emus |
Seriously though, why aren't they the EMU emus? |
| 36 weeks 6 days ago | From St Joe |
Rob Fredrickson played in the NFL, and Mike Gillette was a kicker for Michigan (is #3 on the most field goals made at UM, hit at least one game winner and also hit a 56 yarder) |
| 37 weeks 1 hour ago | Defense seem surprisingly upbeat |
The Jake Ryan, Kovacs, and Hoke all seemed to brush off the defense's performance as being very largely an artifact of facing Air Force. I was surprised by that. |
| 37 weeks 1 hour ago | Only one win over an autoqualifier |
They only had one other win over a BCS autoqualifier, and that was Alabama in 2007, when Bama went 7-6. |
| 37 weeks 3 hours ago | Pretty sure they were illegal |
I was one of the people yelling about it throughout the game. I know on at least 2 of the TDs, one of our players who would have had a shot at being in position to stop the TD, they were cut below the waist and it definitely didn't look straight on. |
| 37 weeks 4 hours ago | Illegal downfield cutblocks |
As I kept spamming on twitter and posting about in the liveblog -- Air Force looked like they were illegally blocking our downfield defenders on most all plays -- as of this year, receivers are no longer allowed to block below the waist, and Air Force did that extensively. |
| 37 weeks 5 hours ago | 4th and really long |
Wasn't it something like 4th and 18 this time, though? That's more understandable. |
| 37 weeks 3 days ago | This! |
Those M Rising hoodies look awesome. I also kind of want the football heart shirt. And really now -- I think we can get behind this and easily help Odoms hit his goal. |
| 37 weeks 5 days ago | Wow |
That is fantastic. I kinda want to actually try to carve this, even though I have no artistic talent. |
| 37 weeks 5 days ago | You're looking at this wrong |
Brian, you're misunderstanding what happened here. We didn't play and lose a game against a college football team. Dave Brandon decided we should forfeit our first game so we would get a chance to play a preseason NFL game. Who we put up 14 points on. |
| 38 weeks 1 hour ago | NFL Team |
Looking at that Bama team, most of them will probably be first or second round NFL draft picks. We were practically playing a bad NFL team. Although this was an ugly, ugly loss, where practically everything that went wrong could... there were still lots of positives that make me optimistic about the team. |
| 38 weeks 1 hour ago | Big 12-->SEC |
They were Big 12 refs. They must have thought they moved to the SEC with Mizzou and TAMU. |
| 38 weeks 1 day ago | To be fair... |
Beating an overrated ND team when ND is the favorite is a common thing nowadays |
