Go Sparty, Beat Big Red

Submitted by SC Wolverine on

Don't look now, but Sparty is about to put us back in the Legends Division driver's seat.  It's so great to cheer for Sparty, our team having made them inconsequential to the season other than serving Michigan's interest.  They must be terribly conflicted over at RCMB.

annnd right on cue you jinx it, fuckhead

On a side note, it's odd to experience this SPARTY NO! --grasping defeat from the claws of victory, business myself.  I can see why they have no fans at the game

The MSU offense just looks tragic out there.  I know that they'll improve somewhat with age, but I have a hard time expecting them to be competent next year barring some dramatic maturation by Maxwell and the offensive line.

...that was probably a good call but it gave us the shot to win. Now he calls 2 in a row to leave Neb sooo much time? Wow. Raucher really is atrocious.

Staee deserves to lose after not going for it on 4th and 2 at Nebraska's 42.  They punted into the endzone.  One play later Nebraska had it first and 10 from their 42.  Staee had run all day on Nebraska - they should have run for it and gone for the win.

Smart football?  Scared football.  They traded 20 yards of field position in exchange for 2 yards that could've won the game.

Up by three, two minutes left, fourth and two on Nebraska's 39 yard line and he punts it. Two yards to win the game. This has to be at the top of the dumb punts of the week list. Speilman thought it was a good decision. How is it possible that people who make their living coaching and talking about football think a punt in this situation is a good decision?
