Hoops: Michigan vs IU predictions? Juwan’s 50th game, he’s 36-13 so far.
February 26th, 2021 at 11:08 PM ^
Juwan 78, Archie 58.

No way IU scores 60 unless it's a ref show. Possible letdown after the beatdown of Iowa but we still win easily. Go get em Blue ???
February 26th, 2021 at 11:15 PM ^
So what is your score prediction?
February 26th, 2021 at 11:54 PM ^
WE WIN!!!!
February 27th, 2021 at 10:56 AM ^
Usually yes, but this team is so good at staying focused and not having letdowns. Everyone is so hungry and selfless.

seems like this will happen:

You guys remember fans at sporting events?

only the cardboard ones.

I don't know this word "at"

69-58 Michigan

NICE!!!!

I think we'll spend more time resting the starters once there is a comfortable lead, so 80-66
February 27th, 2021 at 9:26 AM ^
This.....instead of predicting final score, I see M eventually leading by 20-25 then resting the needy and final by 10-12.
February 26th, 2021 at 11:36 PM ^
Michigan wins.

We should win, but the quick turnaround after the Iowa game makes this a little tricky. I would not be surprised if we look a bit lethargic, before finally pulling away to win by like 10-12.
February 26th, 2021 at 11:44 PM ^
I know fans often talk about this but really what is the difference, other than travel, from playing in the ncaa tournament where you play the same schedule or in the conference tournament where you may have to play multiple days in a row?
February 26th, 2021 at 11:53 PM ^
For one thing, you’re not eliminated if you lose a regular season game. This will be a tough game. It’s early, on the road, only a day and a half after a huge win, so very little practice time (if any) has been devoted to Indiana. Classic trap game.
Thankfully, IU has very little outside shooting to speak of, and we have the bigs to make their life difficult in the paint. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a nail-biter if we start off slow though. 68-61 M.
February 27th, 2021 at 1:11 AM ^
other than travel,
This right here is a lot of it. Big difference between having to travel and then play the next day vs. already being at the site and just staying there an extra couple of days.
Then there is the issue of playing them on the road vs. playing at a neutral site.
And it might be natural to have a letdown in a regular-season game that's coming on the heels of two straight top-10 matchups. We'd sure like to win but the season isn't riding on this game.

Preparation. I imagine M got a scouting report of Indiana before the Iowa and went straight to work after the game. Indiana should be more prepared but I dont think itll matter. Tourney everyone pretty much have the same amount of time to prepare. As far as the players and rest, I dont think that'll matter one bit.
February 26th, 2021 at 11:57 PM ^
66-58. Feel like it will be an off shooting night with some tired legs. We win it, but it won’t be the prettiest game of the year.
February 27th, 2021 at 12:14 AM ^
Juwan 37-13
February 27th, 2021 at 12:21 AM ^
I think Michigan continues to do what it's been doing and coasts to an 85-69 win.
February 27th, 2021 at 12:26 AM ^
Michigan 75 Indiana 65. Michigan is 3-17 in the last 20 games at Assembly Hall. It has not been kind.
February 27th, 2021 at 10:01 AM ^
Michigan was 2-17 in Columbus a week ago then clobbered the #4 team on their court on Sunday.
February 27th, 2021 at 12:27 AM ^
I see a relatively easy win.
Bigger picture is that Juwan likely finishes his first two years winning over 80% of his games with a Final 4 appearance. That is really really good. Can you name anyone in the past 10-20 years with that type of success? Cal at Kentucky? We are in elite territory here.
February 27th, 2021 at 1:27 AM ^
I don't think those eggs have hatched yet
February 27th, 2021 at 12:28 AM ^
IU has talent but they haven't figured out the Team thing. Michigan has both - plus outstanding coaching - with blood to spare. 78-63 Michigan! Go Blue!
February 27th, 2021 at 12:40 AM ^
Indiana has not been playing well recently. Michigan should win fairly easily.
February 27th, 2021 at 12:54 AM ^
I don't care the sport. Good coaches win now. I understand the "wait til he gets his recruits" crowd but Harbaugh's best year was his 2nd and Juwan has been amazing since year 1 and only better year 2. Juwan has turned previously recruits, transfers, and brand new recruits into one of the best teams U of M has ever seen. What we are witnessing is incredible and we have the #1 class in the country next year. Michigan 79-67.
February 27th, 2021 at 3:50 AM ^
Thanks Maizen! Damn just enjoy what Juwan is doing. Quit worrying about Harbaugh.
February 27th, 2021 at 1:05 AM ^
Good guys win again.
They don't make gauntlets like they used to.
February 27th, 2021 at 2:14 AM ^
90-65. 3 point barrage.
February 27th, 2021 at 3:10 AM ^
All I know from a betting perspective is you bet Michigan and Drake to cover. With that Juwan and the boys at least win by 9. GFB!!!
February 27th, 2021 at 3:12 AM ^
I can walk to assembly hall. Just wish I could be there.
February 27th, 2021 at 4:13 AM ^
71-56 Michigan
February 27th, 2021 at 5:19 AM ^
Still much Assembly Hall PTSD for me to get over.
Michigan 74 Indiana 61
February 27th, 2021 at 6:38 AM ^
UM 87 - IU 32
IU goes on a big run in garbage time to make it respectable, and Bob sends $5 up to Bo in Heaven to pay up...Bob took the points.
February 27th, 2021 at 7:33 AM ^
72-56
Good guys pull away late but look a little more human after having two emotional top-10 wins in less than a week. Add in Bloomington being its traditional house of horrors for Michigan and IU being desperate for a statement win that gets them off the bubble, and this game will be close for a little while.
February 27th, 2021 at 7:34 AM ^
Michigan 66 Indiana 63
February 27th, 2021 at 8:20 AM ^
Michigan by 24.. 84-60
February 27th, 2021 at 8:48 AM ^
2-0. 79 turnovers. 40 by indiana and 39 by Michigan.

February 27th, 2021 at 9:27 AM ^
Believe if we win today and Illinois loses we lock the B1G championship!
February 27th, 2021 at 10:21 AM ^
Michigan 72-60
Shooting isn't sharp enough to get to 80.
February 27th, 2021 at 10:45 AM ^
Few 3-pointers but lots of back cuts, pick & rolls, etc. Final 66-54 Michigan.
February 27th, 2021 at 11:09 AM ^
It looks like Armaan Franklin is not able to play today. I expect Michigan will not be as sharp as they have been but will pull out the win 72-68.
February 27th, 2021 at 11:13 AM ^
what is wrong with some of you? casually assuming final 4 appearances...sure.
February 27th, 2021 at 11:32 AM ^
Michigan wins by 3 pts. It feels like a game Michigan could win by 25, but they keep crushing the Kenpom predictions, I'm assuming Kenpom is has a good algorithm and Michigan has a game where they slightly underperform after several overperformances.
