get rid of the helmets and get rid of the concussions. some pretty major ones at first, but in a very short time.....everyone would begin protecting their own head for fear of hurting the other guy's head. wanna get rid of the face mask calls (or lack, thereof?)....get rid of the face masks! Wanna get rid of pulled groins?.....quit running! Wanna get rid of broken fingers, arms, legs and ankles?.....quit moving! You people really need to get lives. |

......anyone ever heard of the "I Ching"? |
| 28 weeks 6 days ago | Thank you for replying.... |
...its more than most do. I appreciate your answers, especially the fact that you gave intelligent answers and let the name calling and derogatory comments lie. ( I especially like the last one). I never claimed to be as smart as Hoke. I said that there would be "hitches". Didn't use that word, however. I merely was pointing out that DG, even while playing receiver, has shown us that he is more suited to the QB spot right now than is Bellomy....and.....with such an important postiion, the coaches should be aware of the kids skillset, abilities and obvious ability to adjust quickly, ie: one week of practice and proves it. It didn't take this board or its posters, after the fact, to realize that the Bellomy insertion was a mistake. During the two-plus qtrs that Bellomy was in the game, countless, lifelong fans saw that it was a mistake and were begging for Hoke to give DG a shot. It isn't about who IS better on any given day....it;s about recognition of the game. You teach kids....you COACH a game, and, this season has proven not once, not twice, but many, many times that the games are not being coached as well as they could have been. Everyone.....EVERYONE, including Ohio fans know that we were outcoached. We were outcoached at Bama, ND, almost State and Ohio. This wasn't a final drive situation. If DG goes in before halftime, he has time to acclimate himself. Then the "Coaches" use halftime to adjust him. Then he has 2 full qtrs to get into a rythm. I appreciate that you were good at tennis, but it's a one man sport (with the obvious exception of dbls) and a team needs a leader. Does anyone honestly believe that the team had as much confidence in Bellomy as they would have had in Gardner? I know that hindsight is 20/20 but I fear that we are seeing a pattern of questionable decision making going on here, during the games.....COME ON!?....do you honestly think that the decision to continue to try and run between the tackles against Ohio was a good coaching decision? Do you honestly believe that Roundtree running routs down the sideline was a good decision? Funchess is a pleasant surprise and the quick throws to him (or anyother TE) are almost nonexistent....even after proving that it works with great success. Do you think that taking that out of the game plan was a good coaching decision? COME ON! Those of us with a few years under our belt our getting more than a little sick and tired of these decisions. Take a shot....sure....but recognize that it isn't working and try something else. And if you don't have something else ready, then theres your next problem. And while your at it, don't use the things that have proven to work. |

......ever since the Bama game, this site has turned into a "click" of you people who worry more about: font, spelling, drinking, loyalty (even though I saw none during the last two years of RR's tenure), name calling, and.......unless you have been making stupid comments over the last few years to get your points up, an opinion means nothing. I don't name call. I don't tell people that they are wrong. I don't threaten. I don't suggest that someone should venture elsewhere. I have just as much right to comment here as you or anyone else does.....so.... STICK IT UP YOUR ASS!!! |

Just curious if you've ever actually played any sports and if so, were you any good?....you know....a normal human being....which is to say that I don't believe Gardner is! I was an above avg athlete but not great. The one thing I excelled at was drums. Played them since I could swing a stick. Haven't played them for years, but, can sit down and everything automatically goes where it's supposed to. Would I be perfect?...no...but I quarantee you, anyone who has been doing something (like throwing a football, reading defenses, running, using hand-eye coordination, etc.) for most of their life isn't going to just forget how to do it! The man was on the field most every play. Does anyone really thing he didn't know the plays? Sure, there may have been a little confusion on handoff direction or exact lineups for any given play, but, if I'm picking kids for my team on the playground, I'll take the 6'5" guy who can run and has a gun for an arm AND has had reps in a college game! These coaches!.......supposed to be great football minds. I have news for you......just because their in the position doesn't necessarily mean that they are great football minds. I would take the 6'5" kid by the shoulders and tell him to focus, give him some direction with easier plays to get him acquainted, tell everyone else on the field to help him get going, you know, make sure we're lined up properly, double check handoffs,........wouldn't have to remind him of the pass patterns.....because HE WAS A RECEIVER!!!!! You've got a lot of nerve telling someone that they are wrong when all I know is, I would rather have a kid who's made a career out of playing QB and has some gametime experience, and wouldn't worry about lining up or handing off but knowing where the receivers are and the timing of the routes.......oh yeah.....HE WAS PLAYING RECEIVER. You honestly want me to buy into the belief that he wouldn't have become comfortable under center?.......in over 2 qtrs?! If you like data analysis so much, then stick to that and stop telling people they're wrong. |

someone out there (with a lot less than a gazillion points) agrees! The players stand up.....protect each other....bust their asses......I know the coaches can't tell us everything but...... ......how much different is Ohio than Bama?...and.... we played Ohio AFTER 12 weeks of a season. Bama was first out of the gate and most expected us to get drilled. 12 weeks of practices and games and this is what THIS coaching staff comes up with? Where's the improvement in coaching?....in clock management?....in time out usage?....I'm sick and tired of HokeSpeak! I'm sick and tired of hearing how the line just didn't blolck the way we expected them to. You know what Hoke, I'm sick and tired of watching you coach! I'm sick and tired of seeing timeouts go to the locker room. I'm sick and tired of your Godawful clock management. (And BTW, if anyone believes that the Coaches were actually TRYING to score just before halftime....your an idiot!!!) If Hoke doesn't want to tell us anything, fine, then just shut your mouth and stop trying to cover up the obvious, blatent, piss-poor job of coaching that I have seen week after week.

....you've never coached, have you? |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | WHAT??? |
You're worried about that when M got away with several holding calls and an obvious facemask? Whatareyou??? A Buckeye? |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | Borgess... |
or Hoke or whoever tried to ruin Roundtree and didn't see Gardner's potential at QB...Why? ....Someone who REALLY knows needs to answer that for me, then we'll discuss the "two dynamic QB's" quote. Apparently, you're happy with beating whoever we're supposed to beat and no one else..... What happened to accountability? Out manned....alright,----------out gunned...ok-------------outcoached with more talent?......................PUT'EM ON THE BUS!!! |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | ok...... |
I don't like Ohio fans at all, but, that was funny! Could have been funnier if you'd worked in something about his short sleeves. |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | I'll begin here. |
I don't care about Kindergarten. Nor do I care about the word of the day. I worry about politics. The politics that has become MICHIGAN football. Duh. Maybe Gardner doesn't throw interceptions if he stays in the game and is allowed to get into a rythm. Maybe Denard aopproaches another record if he's on the field EVERY play. Maybe the Ohio DC's job is just a liiittttllleee more difficult if these two things happen. STOOPED-STOOPID-STOOPID -OR- UNDERMINED BY POLITICS-UNDERMINED BY POLITICS-UNDERMINED BY POLITICS Did it ever occur to any on you that maybe Hoke isn't really in charge of this team? And if Hoke isn't in charge, Borgess isn't really in charge of the offense, now, is he? Denard with one hand and Gardner possibly with only one ankle? Fine......If they could both keep swapping plays back and forth then why couldn't they just stay out there? Vegas needed M to beat IOWA by what?....27 points--------bring out the high powered offense. Vegas needed Ohio to win by 3.5-----------fuck it all up and try to look respectable doing it. How'd that work out????? And how does Brandon sell the #16 Jersey if #16 is on the sidelines? I love Denard and all that he has done, but, I will be so glad when it's over. |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | STICK YOUR 35,000 POINTS RIGHT UP YOUR ASS!!! |
If, If, If....sounds just like someone who spends entirely too much time on the keyboard. The man is 12-0 in an uderstandbly weak conference..however, he's 12-0! He won games that he shouldn't have won. He beat EVERY opponent that he faced. He and his staff were prepared and lucky. If Gallon isn't shoe string tackled?!?!?!? WTF? If your sperm lands on your QWERTY?.?.?.? We have been outcoached all year...........deal with it. |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | How old are you and..... |
how much football have you watched? I'm sick and tired of hearing about Hoke's sideline coaching. He's ruined the instinctive athleticism of Denard Robinson, he's now ruining the instinctive athleticism of Devin Gardner, almost ruined Roundtree and in case you haven't noticed, he hasn't beaten ANYONE who we were not supposed to beat. Add to that the fact that he and his staff haven't soundly beaten anyone who we should be soundly beating.......... .............oh yeah, UMass and Iowa......nice job of coaching the junior high games......and before you bring up the ND game under the lights.........we damn near lost. Hasn't won on the road yet.............with more talent than most of his opponents. Devin Gardner has been our quarterback for this style offense all season. The coaching staff knew it. Couldn't take Denard out from under center and piss off the powers that be. How many other coaches out there would have this stinking record, with this talent, playing the Big 10 this year???????? HIGH SCHOOL COACHES WOULD HAVE HAD A BETTER RECORD, WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED TIMEOUTS, MANAGED THE CLOCK BETTER, AND MADE BETTER DECISIONS ALL SEASON LONG. I get it. Our OL is not good.
THEN WHY THE HELL DID WE TRY TO RUN AGAINST ONE OF THE BIG 10'S BEST D LINES IN SUCH A CLOSE GAME WHILE LEAVING HALF OUR TALENT ON THE SIDELINES? Our primary ball handler only had one hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoke and Borgess along with Brandon need to go. Money, money, money......that's all it's about now. I want Sten Carlsen to tell me why we didn't use any of the things we used against Iowa during the Bama game? YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS. GO WILDCATS! |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | Not at the same time?... |
.....aahhhh come on.......I'm smoking my car and driving my weed right now! |
| 29 weeks 1 day ago | Tressell LIED !! |
At least try to know what your coach and AD were guilty of. ---Players breaking NCAA policy ---Coaches and administrators hiding it. ---Coaches and possibly others lying about it to the NCAA ---Ineligable players on field. Nice job BTW of honoring a man with no honor last Saturday. |

| 32 weeks 1 day ago | RadioMuse...... |
Ssshhhhhh......don't tell anyone. Kennedy's a senior and bellomy is not. Probably best, last chance to get him on field.
|
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | did it ever occure to you guys...... |
that maybe Kennedy was put in because: a-he's a senior b-the game was in hand c-probably won't have another game in hand the rest of his SENIOR yr to allow him to actually play. |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | inthebluelot..... |
your opinion that his conjecture is conjecture...........is conjecture! |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | yeah.... |
and there's absolutely no chance that the coaching staff started the rumors! |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | Hey Turd, maybe he won't. but I difinately will. |
What's wrong with the Hoke/RR comparisons? We've compared every other coach throughout the years to the one who came before. RR has won everywhere he's coached, including in Arizona and that will come back to haunt U of M. They will be known as the one place who wouldn't back up a guy who did it by the book, told the truth, and took the heat. Hoke and all of us enjoyed last year because of RR and you know it. You people who have an opinion and voice it and then turn around and tell others what they can discuss and shouldn't discuss really need to reexamine yourselves! |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | hey natevolk......!! |
how long have you been a fan or watching the games? Hoke is winning with THAT masterminds players. DUH! And...... Losing with all THAT talent!!! |

| 32 weeks 5 days ago | you're entire last paragraph, |
does anyone else think that maybe our offense is WELL scouted. maybe that''s why their DT's are now so involved. |
| 32 weeks 5 days ago | absolutely appreciate your work, but |
"few instances in which I've seen a DT make a play on anything like that, so I chalk that up to OK and move on" sounds like our coaching staff. Sorry, not buying it! |

thousands of words on this topic of offense, preparedness, QB readiness, O line, OC, RB's, lack of O production....doesn't it bother anyone else that we don't manage the clock very well? If I recall correctly, Bellomy had just been installed, UM was moving the ball, there was about :52 left on clock in 1st half, an incomplete pass stops the clock with 2 timeouts remaining. All of us watching agreed. Why not use at least one timeout to get your new QB and team on same page or give the OC additional time to consider options. We all sat there and knew and predicted no score change and both timeouts would go to the locker room. I realize that its become a very complicated and fast paced game. All the more reason to use the time allotted to you to settle everyone in. I wish Brian or some other interviewer would ask a question pertaining to clock management. You teach at practice but you "Coach" a game and it seems at times that they struggle to do that. |
| 33 weeks 1 hour ago | now, hold on, david from wyoming |
I have no idea how old you are or what you have accomplished so far in your lifetime but that is a bunch of crap. These "kids" choose to put themselves out there. Most all of them have the aspiration of the"big time" with the big paycheck. They've spent most of their lives thus far well aware of the limelight of sports and when all the big name colleges come calling, they eat it up. They know exactly what they're getting themselves into because they are fans of something themselves and just left a high school where they hear this kind of criticism about someone else all of the time. Now, I personally don't agree with name calling, but i certainly don't agree with you and your effort to tell someone that they are not entitled to their opinion or that they are just a random guy on the internet. I've sent 4 kids to college and one to the Air Force, I've paid for over 24 years of season tickets, I've spent plenty of money on this sport at this University in support of thise kids and my fandom. I've watched good movies and bad movies, good TV and bad TV, read good books and bad books, and listened to good music and bad music.....know what? Its good or bad depending on my opinion and the opinion of whomever is experiencing it. These "kids" are either stars already or hope to be and they differ not from music, television or movie stars. The public makes or breaks them based upon wether or not they are liked, accepted and appreciated by the fanbase. It's their performances and sometimes our opinions that decide wether they belong where they are. Belllomy fan? I personally haven't decided yet, but, you have no business telling anyone that their opinion doesn't matter! |

Fucking moronic or just regular moronic? "You have no reason to believe that we weren't going to score a touchdown.........", did u see the MSU game? - (moron) "You are quite confident we were going to put some more points on the board......", did u see the MSU game? (moron) "We were winning the battle up front on both sides of the ball.....", teams know when to blitz, they know when to create a shallow circle and contain the run and are willing to let us try to beat them with the deep ball because we've also ruined Roundtree and Gardner can't reach above his head. (moron). "WE DID NOT LOSE THIS GAME BECAUSE OF BORGESS.......", so, when Denard goes out, who's job is it to prepare everyone else????(M=moron). BTW - you're really relying on spell check? |
