"Here's my opinion on this topic"

Submitted by iheartlarryfoote on

I made a post about how spartan fans have been ranting on sports radio about how they want to see Denard injured and the topic got locked and I was told to keep "heres my opinion  on this topic posts to a minimum."  How was my post different than anything else?  "My opinion is" that geaux_blue is an a$$hole.

MOD EDIT: FA here, we're locking this thread. This post is stupider than his first. There's nothing positive that will come from the comments here. Negbang and move on.

You come on!  This is an outstanding thread, perfect for the Thursday afternoon doldrums.  Nothing could be finer for someone like me (here at work, watching the clock until quitting time, trying not to do anything productive for the rest of the day) than a thread like this one!  A well-timed thread like this is brilliant, if only for the opportunity to think about a creative way to blast the poster and/or attach hilarious pictures/video!

not that I'm agreeing with you because I got negbanged to all hell for starting the number 1 jersey denard thread, but most people would probably say that you are just trying to start a flame war, and there are already msu hate threads for that down the board.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.  At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the MGoCommunity is now dumber for having read to it.  I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

what was meant by keeping opinion on this topic to a minimum?

not sure I got that

and now I don't get the fight

sorry if this is covered somewhere could someone point me to the right spot?

I saw the earlier sports talk radio and snickers lady post

I don't get the snickers lady either

It seems really, really interesting that this is such a hot topic.  Somehow trying to pigeon hole Spartans as awful people who want to see Shoelaces injured.

I say interesting considering the epic roar that went up in Michigan Stadium when Stanton was injured.

Pot, meet kettle.  Kettle, meet pot.

There are good fans and there are bad fans.  No good fan actually wants to see an opposing player injured.  At least I would hope not.

To be fair, this isn't really that hot of a topic. As you can see from the fact that his original thread was locked within minutes and now this thread will end with him not being able to start a new one for a while. I agree though, there are good fans and there are bad fans. There are Michigan fans who MSpaint Greg Jones destroying the twin towers, and there are MSU fans who devote an entire thread to "Guess what...Bo'd still dead. Here's what I would do to his dead body."

Rough all around. Hopefully we can all still be friends.

the hot topic is how 90% of MSU fans are cheering on the idea of DRob getting hurt. also, hasn't a majority of tRCMB noted that the cheer was for the hit and that only a classless few cheered the injury on Stanton? very few mentions/discussions have chastised Indiana for their full-stadium cheer when Denard went out.

this is completely out of left field and i would expect a mod of Spartan Tailgate to latch on to a post which encouraged the idea of hurting Cousins or something rather than making a bizarre mention in the middle of an ego-hurt individual's throw-away post

I was at the IU game (maybe you were too and we just disagree), but the IU cheer was NOT stadium-wide. To me, it was mostly the student section (by "mostly", I mean about 90% of the noise of joy). Just sayin'. Also, I feel that there were enough angry posts about the cheer for an injured Denard @ IU, but it quelled after people realized it may not have been a full-stadium cheer.

Considering all of the bitching about this kind of thread, why not just make a weekly (or daily, if needed) thread for everyones opinions and whatnot? they still get to speak their mind, and the board doesnt get clogged up.

Because that won't solve the problem?  The type of person who posts unnecessary topics isn't going to make sure to post in the correct topic every time.

Speaking of, why did this have to be its own topic instead of just putting this in the other one. No one cares about your hurt e-feelings.

and then i noticed it was dollar signs and not the letter s.

i am in fact a money hole. my parents, my wife... everybody has been throwing money at the problem known as me. and what do they have to show for it? nothing.
