I just watched his junior and senior highlight tapes. He looks like a real competitor with all the skills (would you expect anything less from Harbaugh's first true QB recruit?). That league he plays in looks very competitive too, moreso than you would expect from the state on Indiana. There's another poster who coaches basketball there who confirmed Peters' league is one of the toughest in the state.

I am going to guess no, unless it is a can't miss five star type of kid. The coaches will always make room for an elite talent, regardless of need or position. Aside from that, I think the coaches have addressed the lack of QB competition through transfers and taking two last cycle. I also understand that Harbaugh has a history of taking two, so I guess we will see.

Plenty of plays where he is throwing WRs open with back shoulder throws and hitting nice out routes.
Decent arm strength and just mobile enough to escape trouble.
