You might as well just go ahead and die then.
Studies show one of the most-shared traits of centenarians is that they haven't discussed or concerned themselves with phrases like "old", "middle-aged", "elderly", etc through life...apparently they just live with what they are absent definition.
The others were lack of envy, tight community bonds, and unfortunately I forget the fourth but it was not food or exercise related.
that and they smoke cigars and drink whiskey every day.

Right now, yes but will be playing his first season of HS football this fall.
cool, for a minute i thought this was ridiculous
Isn't playing high school football what 9th graders typically do?
Well, yes.
But there are some schools where 8th graders are eligible for high school/varsity football. That's typically only the case if the middle schools don't have school sports in the district.
Gotcha. Thanks.
My underwear can now be offered by the University of Michigan.
I understand it has good knee bend and pad level for its age. Questions could be raised about its motor, as sputtering sounds are often emitted.
If your underwear is old enough to be offered it likely has some holes in its game.
It's streaky....but plays with a mean streak
Gritty?
...It can still stretch the field, but doesn't bounce back like it used to.
At least you aren't on the butt end of things here.
Don't forgot the prevalence of the sack in that offense
I don't mind this. It sounds ridiculous but might as well get a jump on them as early as we can. That way they have Michigan on their mind.
I don't know that this outweighs the huge uncertainty with projecting a kid that far out. Maybe it does for special cases, and probably somebody has data on this. But I'm skeptical of the ability of coaches to identify talent well that young. Talent is often totally misidentified even after four years of HS. Ideally, you wouldn't make offers on such poor data.
David Sills is the only one I can think of. He became famous for being a 7th grader who was offered and committed to USC. He was supposed to be the next can't miss recruit, but he never developed into a 5 star talent.
I don't mind that at all but why in God's name would an 8th grader be on Twitter?
/get off my lawn
A quick Google search, however, reveals that he's actually a full year older than my son, so I don't feel so bad about him not yet having an offer from Coach Harbaugh.
Plus, I'm sure that my son will grow a full foot in the next year and become athletically gifted.
How's his 40 time?
good times. i recommend the lemonade - fresh squeezed!
So much can change with this kid in the next 4 years. That's just crazy to offer so early.
Everybody is doing this now. It's not dirty and you're not screwing anybody over doing it. You got to get a jump on the SEC somehow when you're not providing benefits. It's one of the reason that I think Beilein should start recruiting players this early instead of waiting until their sophomore year.
It's still crazy.
I hope the NCAA cracks down on this. It's hard to imagine that it's good for a 13-year-old to believe that he's already guaranteed a scholarship in college..... not to mention to have to interact with college coaches and recruiting reporters. There's no reason this couldn't wait at least until high school starts.
Plus, even if it isn't "dirty," I'm skeptical that the offers are sincere. Coaches know they can just back off of a kid who doesn't develop as they hope.
of the way Beilein handles it. Not offering isn't the same as not expressing interest. And I don't believe that has ever been a reason we lost a player--though we'll probably never know.
Recruiting has turned into a whirlwind under Harbaugh. It probably as a lot to do with his gigantic supporting staff of people who I can't even name or count.
I know it's early but where are the commits, momentum? OSU is crushing.
AS MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER USED TO ALWAYS SAY
"FUCK OHIO STATE"
recruiting is so stupid. I love college football, yet I hate recruiting. I'm not sure what this means.
I think this means that you hate recruiting - but I could be wrong.
YOU ARE NOT WRONG!
6'1", 190. 15-year old 8th grader.
"He looks young."
/too soon?
No on a serious note - that is like NFL size for a few positions ...that's ridiculous.
Don't tempt the hammer.
Early growth spurt.
He could grow up to be the next Cornelius Ingram.
On the other hand, he may arrive at college looking almost the same.
It will be interesting to watch.
