There is simply no reason to make the request. There are rules here, and we don't need a child to remind us of them. If someone screws up, as the asshat who made a joke about kid's genitalia lower down did, the mods will deal with it, as they did in with that comment.

Plus you can mail your postcards from Vatican City. They have much more efficient postal service than Italy does.
