God Bless Colin Cowherd for Supporting America's Team

So there's four words I never thought I'd use to begin a post title. Maybe being on FOX has helped immunize him against the b.s. coming out of the Worldwide Leader in Spite™️. But this was great.

Consider that Stephen A. went on air this morning and said if Michigan goes undefeated they shouldn't be eligible to be in the playoffs in light of the events that are taking place.  So... yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say Cowherd wins by default if you want to make comparisons

Based on what?  The NCAA said Harbaugh isn't tied to 'Team Stallions' and the NCAA thinks their 'advanced scouting' is not illegal (they've never punished for it).

Stephen A has multiple characters of himself that pop up throughout a single discussion.  Annoying.  Especially.... WHEN...he....changes... HIS VOICE... aaaand cadence.

Anyone see Feinbaum and Matt Barie's hit piece today on Moore's emotions and on Michigan fans on the offical ESPN College Football Youtube channel?  I have never seen anything like it. The most hate filled, biased, seething commentary against a program and its fans that I have ever seen by purported "national" journalists.

Beyond disgusting.  Two rats laying it on a young coach who God forbid showed emotion after being under huge national pressure with Harbaugh out.

Feinbaum's true colors could not be more clear.

That was some of the worst nearly 7 minutes I have experienced all year.  Really, I am not sure why ESPN has gone so off-the-charts with anti-UM bias, but this is probably the poster child.

Don't watch it.  You'll regret it.  Serious assholery by 2 of the biggest assholes in sports media.

I posted this in another thread. Stephen A was on with three other talking heads and the subject was "Was the punishment enough?" I wasn't listening, it was on a TV at the health club but it was a ten minute segment. Was the punishment enough for what? For what hasn't been completely investigated yet, so no one knows what it really was yet? No ESPN on campus.

I stopped watching/listening to ESPN about 10 years ago or so and that's probably the last time I listened to Cowherd (he was on EPSN radio at the time). I liked him back then, though I can't really say I'm a fan since it's been so long, but he certainly sounds like the same guy he was then.

I am reminded that he had a segment clowning on Michigan fans back around the Rich Rod times where he kept saying the phrase "take off the Wolverine pajamas," and my buddies and I thought it was such an unusual thing to say that it has become a part of our vocabulary.

Urbs also said, in all his years of coaching "he never heard of advance scouting."  So Urbs, where did all that video you watched come from?  Next week's games from the future perhaps?  Yes, almost everyone is acting and all the worlds a stage.

I don't think he totally missed the headline NFL news that New England had cameras on the other team's signals.

I stopped bothering to listen to most talking heads as they are not (mostly) based on facts or due process anymore.

I do listen to Klatt - his position mirrors mine the most.

Investigate the facts. Have the NCAA issue a notice of allegation. There is due process where Michigan is allowed to defend itself. If they are found to have violated rules, they should be punished appropriately.

The B1G's actions did not follow that process: it was unilateral and in violation of the conference rules.

People will give themselves a heart attack by following this too closely, especially listening to every talking head espouse their opinion...Unplug, its honestly a lot better for your mental state.
