beringer. nice. oldest daughter made her super-duper home-made mac cheese for us for dinner. i coached the 2 oldest sons in their first football practice of the year. the lions are actually winning right now, 13-0. harvest time is here, including fruit. it is such a great time of the year.

Ska Brewing is inconsistent (in terms of QC) but I like the Modus Hoperandi quite a bit. Just don't be surprised if you get a terrible one once in a while.

At this time of year, well actually usually beginning in late April I'm home in mi casa by Lake MI, waiting for the fb season to jump into gear. This year I made a quick visit back home, paid my property taxes, said hello and goodbye to a few people and returned to Paradise, Ajijic, state of Jalisco, Mexico to open a bar with a couple of friends. Normally toss down Centanario, a popular tequila, but tonight Pueblo Viejo had a nice offer, a bottle and roughly 12 ounce throw in for like 250 pesos, i.e, 18 bucks or so. Good buzz. Good times.
