Evening / Late Night Games Open Thread

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

I was frankly shocked that no such thread was currently up as we're typically so conscious of the slate. No matter, a few notable ones:

Florida State / Oklahoma State - currently 10-0 FSU with the first quarter nearly over.

LSU / Wisconsin - this should be an interesting one. I think it is the only SEC / Big Ten game scheduled this season.

Oregon / South Dakota - Prediction? Pain. No, seriously, the line has Oregon winning by an amount yet to be computed.

I know, I know: it wasn't the speed, it was just Wisconsin running a tricky play that LSU wasn't expecting. You know, that sweep they ran 5-10 times a game last year.

Furman - did I not see that he was going to start for OSU this year? There are no names on the OSU jerseys and I have been channel flipping. Anyone know if he is playing tonight against Famous Jameis?

May you get well soon Konrad Zagzebski nobody should get injured. This is certainly the worst part of the game and nice to see the thumbs up. Classy move to show respect by all people.

Ok, off topic question.   I was watching the B1G Network studio show last night before the MSU game, and the one of the analysts wasn't a former Big 10 player.   He was a receiver from LSU.  And a few days ago they had another analyst that was a former player at a non Big 10 school.  Now i'd understand this if these guys were really good anyalysts, but honestly they were horrible.   They couldn't even pronounce some of the leagues more populars players names correctly.   Surely there are some still plenty of former BIG players that could be mediocre studio analysts available?  I dont' remember non BIG players being in studio before.

Wisconsin and LSU are playing down in Texas and they're not wearing clowniforms- just their normal unis. How can they recruit like that? After all, the kids love the uniformz.
