I don't think anyone ever considers Wisconsin an easy route. Ask the defending National Champs.

UNC and Kansas don't particularly have difficult paths compared to Florida. Also I'd guess Gonzaga didn't think NW nor West Virginia were easy targets...they dismantled a WV team that many wouldn't. They might just be a really good squad.

This is the best and most complete Zags team ever. Great guard play with experience and there bigs are interchangeable. They can go big against a team that has guys like Haas or they can go at a team like Michigan with athletic bigs. Now that I seen Oregon beat Kansas dam that could and should of been us. But Bell once again showed me why Michigan needs to recruit big guys like that. He changed the game on both ends 2 games in a row.

Not sure we'd have outshot them tonight...which we of course would have needed to do. We also don't play defense, similar to Xavier though, now that I think about it. But no, we likely don't beat the Zags tonight. Maybe, yes, it's a bit of a homer thought, though.

size is the one thing we'd be able to exploit.  Karnowski would be like the Purdue bigs or the Louisville trying to stay with Wagner.  The idea that we struggle with tall teams is completely false.

We struggled more with smaller but athletic big men, like those on Minnesota, Oregon, OSU (both).

We would have feasted on Gonzaga lumbering big men.

a Xavier dude rebounded the ball so hard that it bounced off the floor and in.  Such a weird ten second sequence of the game.

Gonzaga pulling away now, though

We need Bell to teach Dj Wilson how to finish at the rim aka dunk.

Its unbelievable how soft Wilson can't be at times under the rim.

like the dunk he missed against us?

Go back and watch the BTT championship game and take a look at DJs finishes.  He missed a wide open layup against Oregon.  It happens once in 50 times to the best of them.  He shot 63 percent on twos on the year, third in the big ten, while still having a midrange game. Any complaints about his finishing is a tired trope.
