It’s not really all that underwhelming. Most of the national people, and hell most of US, didn’t think we would pull it off.

Then Domani follows it up with “it’s hard to say no’ to playing with Will Johnson "Every day I hear from him. He just always says, 'come home.' And it's hard to say no... It's gonna be a (signing day) decision.”

And yet he committed and stayed committed to USC even after they fired their coach. While he eventually did de-commit, I wouldn't be surprised to see him either recommit to USC now that LR is there or go to a known powerhouse and supposed favorite Alabama. Maybe Michigan winning it all will be enough to seal the deal for him, but short of that, I don't think Michigan will get his services. I'll wait for him to prove me wrong as I was with the game on Saturday.

Or the kid is simply torn between three programs he really likes… newsflash: you have to fight to the end for top end talent. You don’t give up on a recruit because he isn’t committing on your timeline. He has until February to decide where he wants to go, and it’s “pulling teeth” when a 5* hasn’t decided where he wants to go by the end of November?

It’s not about a recruit committing on our timeline. It’s about a kid sounding like he doesn’t want to play here or still isn’t confident that he will be able accomplish his goals here. I can’t say I blame him. Even if Michigan wins out this year, I would still put Alabama down as the place that is more of a sure thing for him to be a 1st round pick and a national champion within the next 5 years.

I can’t remember a recruit paying his own way to come to a game with his entire family then saying he didn’t think the team he visited had any shot to win. Was he visiting OSU like Maurice Clarrett did when he visit Michigan for the OSU game? I could be reading this wrong but it sounds like he is almost pissed Michigan won because it would have been an easier announcement if the lost.

If Zach saw playing time in his future in front of Haskins and Corum, and no recruitment of Edwards, he'd be Michigan's leading rusher.  You can't crap on him for 'not wanting to be here' when he wanted a chance to play.  He's UCLA's leading rusher and had early talk of Heisman results!

I don't blame him for leaving, at all...

Why are you evading the point every time someone points out flaws in your logic?

You're being intellectually dishonest, and it's hard to converse that way. He pointed out precisely WHY Charbonnet left, which you clearly ignored because then you can't make the "argument" you're making here. Come on man, you're wasting time for no purpose. Be better than that.

It's okay to be wrong. It's not okay to dig in and argue dishonestly, so as to appear correct (to those not paying attention to words).

No way people are making this decision the day of an announcement! Feels a lot more like he doesn't want to disappoint anyone. If it is truly a day of decision, I hope he picks somewhere else. A program isn't going to achieve anything by merely showing up, OSU proved this on Saturday. Go Blue!!
