Yeah, it's less creepy. It's still an invasion of Mathis's privacy, though (and just because he chose to respond nicely doesn't mean he isn't still weirded out by it).

FWIW, I think that posting on Dior's wall, as a high-schooler, is just sort of sad. Not creepy.
Not as creepy as, say, going onto Dior Mathis' wall to find the identity of a high school kid and posting it on a message board for the purpose of abusing him.
Unless this newly joined poster (as in today) is Tate himself, it is definitely crossing the line. Hopefully the response is something positive for us though.

I'm not. I find it very weird to be facebook friend with anyone who doesn't know me quite well, like if I ran into them at the grocery store he or she would come up and say hi.
That's usually how I use my facebook but so many people kept referencing to his page I added him eventually.

What we have here, I believe, is one case in a terrifying, growing epidemic of social-networkia. This horrifying ailment causes young people today to believe that everyone on earth should be on an immediate first name, close sharing basis with everyone else, for any reason.
This is just stupid. Don't try and promote UofM to any recruits via facebook, because you're not helping any. Just try and learn from your mistake, and don't do this again.
