Who's going to be the unlucky team out of Michigan, MSU, and OSU that has to play Iowa in the second round of the BTT?

And besides rooting for Michigan (heh, rooting is an understatement) I cheer the Hawkeyes on. The way this team is playing right now, they could be a NCAA tourney worthy team. Buuuuuut, they went ahead and lost to Penn St, Nebraska, Campbell, and UNI throughout the season, which deservedly gets them maybe to the NIT. Nobody else cares but it kind of pisses me off! McCaffrey has them playing good basketball now and they should be looking at win 17/18 now instead of 15. Beware the Hawkeyes, even next year, but in 2 and 3 years from now for sure.

What was the deal there? Why was Iowa so inept in December? They've looked solid in league play.

Iowa will make the NCAA if Minn and NW keep blowing it. However, Iowa is only good at home.
MSU has two more chances where they can lose. @ IU and vs OSU. Let's hope they drop both.

Iowa can not make the tournament without winning the B1G tourney. They lost to a team called the Fighting Camels.

They're 15-13 now. Say they finish 3-0, which is very do-able with their schedule. Let's say they win two Big 10 Tourney games, 20-13. Are they still not in? Even though they'd have finished 6th in the Big Ten (regular season) and into the semis in the Big 10 Tourney? I have tough time saying yes, but, well, a tough time saying no the way they hypothetically finish.

They don't stand a chance. They're 136 in the RPI. Like it or not, the selection committee does not pick a team with a triple digit RPI. Also, they'd be 20-14 because they have to lose a game in the tourney (if they don't then they're in obviously).

Realized I missed the last loss they'd have few minutes ago, again pondering this more. Yea, I agree with you though, 14 losses and a horrible RPI I wasn't even aware of is hard to admit to the Dance. The run at the end of the season they could possibly have is what gets me thinking possibility. But again losses to CAMPBELL, Nebraska, and Penn St. is daunting to overlook.

Matt Gatens is an ice cold killer. He just makes it rain. He had around 30 points against Indiana with 7 threes and already has 7 threes tonight with 31 points.

This cat has been hot these past two games. Back to back 30 pt games isn't too shabby. (11 straight 3's earlier in the game, spanning back to last game vs Indiana; he's since missed two 3's tonight).

That stat is just ridiculous. He was bound to miss them though.

Don't pull that shit.
Besides, even non-homoerotic auto-play youtube videos are annoying.

Would have been nice for MSU to switch the Nebraska game with an away game at Iowa. They didn't have to do that this year.
Guess they did have to go to the Barn.
Interesting music.

Iowa has had a rough season, but they've been great at home. It isn't even their first upset this week at home.

It happens too often down here. The field rush against 09' Penn St. ranked #3 at the time, on last second field goal was one that was worth it! Otherwise yes, they do it too much.

Did anyone else notice Musberger have three or four senior moments during the beginning of the Gonzaga/BYU game? I think the funniest was when he referenced John Stockton doing pick-n-roll's with Moses Malone.
