The Burke steal!
Edit: For clarification, I'm referring to the steal on Appling which led to the game-winning basket, although the steal on Harris was arguably just as important.

I was texting my girlfriend the updates and had my head down and just remember the announcing yelling and crowd cheering and seeing Trey soaring in the air. What a play by the best player in the country.
on continuous snap feed. I was at the other end but the 200mm lens got some nice snaps. I saw it through the view finder.

Wait, you weren't watching the final seconds of the game so you could text your girlfriend? I know people are addicted to their phones, but holy shit, it could wait for 20 seconds. It's not like she'd know the difference.

Arghh, I had said out loud "I can't watch this" right before this play... And I didn't :(
Photography Facebook Page. Lots of Michigan sports photos. And planes, lots of planes:

and missed it, too
then i had to flip back with the dvr
.
Everyone missed it. It occurred (barely) off screen. CBS blew the camera work.
For some reason this sticks out to me, but Michigan is up 5 with like :15 to go on MSU, who just drilled a 3. Morris gets the inbounds pass under the MSU basket, splits a double team, he goes behind the back around a MSU player, and then in the same motion, around the back AGAIN, head fakes one player, splits another double team in the paint, and finger rolls the layup in. Smooth as silk. Game. Over.

It's at 3:00 in this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlHV9WS7PV0
I would embed, but I don't know how
Watching Hardaway in that video reminds me a lot of LeVert this year: has a nice stroke when we gets going, has some quickness on the dribble, and skinny as a rail. I'm really hoping LeVert develops into a more consistent weapon. He made a great argument for himself last night picking up Stauskas' extra minutes.
With both teams being good over the past 15 years...there has to be something of note.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
I'd love it if someone just made a compilation video of all of those things...repeating over and over for 10-20 minutes, maybe with some interludes of Brian's Brady Hoke chinese intrsument video
It was amazing. I was lucky enough to be right behind the Michigan bench, and I swear there was a second of disbelief from the crowd, a collective gasp if you will, until Trey started dribbling the other way...and then it just went nuts when he slammed it homed.
I don't know where it ranks, but man was it a great play, and might have saved our season.
Same with me. I was texting my sister, who'd been groaning about the officiating all night, after the McGary TO. Then I looked up: glory.

I don't know about all those times but I rather enjoyed watching Lloyd run up the score against Bobby after the Spartan Bob incident.
Not that I loved Rich Rod less, but that I loved Michigan more.
I work in Lansing an am one of about 5 Michigan fans surrounded by about 65 Spartys. I bet one guy on that football game an he told me he wanted 42 points. I agreed. MSU took the opening kickoff down the field and kicked a field goal. Michigan scored 48 unanswered points and I took his $20! Miss those days!
Perfect play to come back from that previous possession and just a great way to get everyone back into the game and just epitomized our rise from being the second teir basketball team in the state to finally asserting ourself as an elite force in the Big Ten.
That was a great swing of emotion from being extremely disappointed (about giving up a big lead at the end of regulation and the best case scenario being OT) to going wild with ecstasy.
I thought to myself, "There's no way they win here unless Trey steals the ball." Then he stole the effing ball.
TWICE
To be at least somewhat fair, Trey Burke did give the Spartans something in return - their third straight loss.
Here they are again:

Watched the game in Florida, when the steal happened I ran up to the State fans in the bar and yelled quite loudly "Suck on that!"
Overreaction? I don't think so
for today, goodbye; for tomorrow, good luck; and forever, GO BLUE!!
I think so.
Those weren't state fans. Those were poor Cuban immigrants wearing the 2012 Final Four t-shirts MSU had to unload.

Oh so you're that Michigan fan that I hate.

I don't like sports assholes, whether they root for Ohio, MSU, ND, Alabama . . . or Michigan. Have some class and don't be an ass.
Protip: to be a polite, happy, and condescending Michigan fan will always grind their gears more than what you did.

You didn't mention Braylonfest? That is my number one for sure
I don't know who's hair is better, John Stamos circa Full House or Denard
GO BLUE
Well if I just went and listed everything in the OP it would preempt the discussion. I figured three examples was a good start, but there are many more.

Good point. Braylonfest was unbelievable. I remember the people I was with wanted to leave when state went up 17. They still thank me today for making them stay (it was before I could drive myself to the games)
Today's steal(s) were absolutely unbelievable. By far my favorite plays of this basketball season. The alley oop then slapping the floor/firing up the crowd was pretty great as well.

I felt like we were almost mocking state. They slap the floor a lot, and did it a couple of times already in this game. It felt like we were turning the game and that was our way of saying "get the fuck off our court" 2013 version. I personally hate the floor slapping as a routine though.
