Brian's Intro Music
On WTKA today Brian suggested to Ira he needs some them music. I'm sure as always we will be there in support for him. As Brian always does I'll go straight to my favorite The Smiths.
In order of preference
1. Bigmouth Strikes Again- Great opening riff, self mocking title.
2. Handsome Devil- Great riff again, sly title but not as good because Bigmouth has more to to do with his actual role on the show as opposed to his good looks.
3. This Charming Man- A little too cutesy but another fun title.
I'll hang up and listen.

"Cult of Personality" by Living Color jumped into the iTunes top 100 this summer after a wrestler started using it. When I read about that, I honestly thought "Wow, that song would make the perfect intro for Brian on the radio."
Funny to see that he now agrees he needs some music.

This was my first thought. Second was "Code Monkey" by Jonathan Coulton (who looks kind of like Brian).

i thought we were all agreed that brian looks like the lead singer of nickelback.

This is obvious and is the only answer. There can only be one

It sounds fine in principle. But meh-bee we should write a unique jingle. The talent base is here (ahem). Default is The Victors, of course.

Is one of the worst bands of all time. I H-A-T-E how their singer sings/sounds and their music is simply crap.

...I think they should use "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" next week just for the resultant laughs.
September 8th, 2011 at 3:49 PM ^
That was mine as well - I might die laughing if they led into the 9:00 segment with it.

Anyone remember that horrible song? It still reverberates through my ears after only hearing it 1-2 times over 10 years ago. Get it out!
