He's just looking for attention b/c he said something you don't want to be true?  He's probably right so I would think he's just being honest.  It's true that anything can change between now and February but the chances of anything changing with Dunn are slim to none.

But that's true for every recruit.

Bill is usually pretty conservative with his predictions.  This one was made after visting Dunn at a GlenOak scrimmage (where Dunn played with a "Go Bucks" bracelet, FWIW... not much).

This one seems to be drifting OSU's way the last few weeks.  Bill's not the first insider to say this one is over.

So you don't have real insight and just play devils advocate for the hell of it? I don't get what this adds to the board besides disagreeing to disagree. Don't get me wrong I appreciate your work with the app., I just don't understand what being a contrarian for the hell of it does for anybody.

How much does a "me too" post add to the board?  Mgoblog is a place for intelligent conversation.  Sometimes this goes out the window when it comes to discussing Ohio State.  I try to lend a little balance to the conversation.

I'm not insulting anyone.  I'm not being rude or disrespectful.  I'm not making any crazy, off the wall claims. My posts are on topic.  I'm not sure why anyone would have a problem with it.

All I said in this thread is that Bill Greene has a history of being professional and balanced, which a lot of other posters agreed with.

Dunn sporting the Buckeyes wrist band tonight...A little bit of an assumption I'm guessing on this guys part just because of the wristband???????  We''ll see what happens in Columbus with sanctions before we get a good idea of where he's going.

That's a good point.  I'm sure Bri'onte is going to tell Bill Green of Scout Ohio that he's heavily considering Michigan.  He's been very quiet the whole time, and has emphasized his commitment to OSU repeatedly.  I see no reason to believe anything has changed.  He's technically committed, but still considering.  I'll believe the cause is lost if he cancels his ND game visit.

After watching the highlights of each back, they do look pretty similar.  Brionte's a little taller, but they have about the same build.  Dunn seemed a little better with yards after contact, while Brown seemed better at making the first tackler miss.  Both have good speed, but are not burners...it might take them a few more seconds to chase down Denard in the endzone during a touchdown celebration.

I think for being an OSU homer and beat writer, that he is quite balanced

Besides, the most likely scenario is that BD stays committed to tOSU. If something happens with the NCAA, that changes, but until then, we are on the outside looking in.

But I'm not going to be heart broken if he does stick it out down there. I have this feeling (and I hope I'm right!) that Justice Hayes is going to end up being our featured back from his sophomore season on out. Aside from having a top shelf football name, he's a versatile back that can catch the ball well out of the backfield and evidently has good enough speed to return punts and kicks according to an earlier post. Plus, he didn't hesitate to Go Blue after Dee Hart defected to Bama. It says a lot about how much he wants to be a Wolverine that he left a Notre Dame program that many might say are on the rise after they ended last year on a better/higher note than "we" did.

A lot of Ohio kids who are offered by OSU are afraid of picking against the Buckeyes (especially when it's another B1G team).  It's not like a Michigan kid picking UM over state who still has half of the population supporting him.  Recruits who turn down OSU get some serious irrational BS thrown at them by the out-of-control, rabid, incessant and annoying Buckeye fan base.... see:  Kyle Kalis.

All I'm saying is, even of the kid IS considering somewhere else, it's entirely possible he doesn't want anyone to know his intentions.

Also, he has visited PSU and Michigan in the last month.  Just saying.

Kids chose OSU because of fear of retribution?  Get real.  Say he does sign with OSU, I'm sure there will be people on here ready to call him a scumbag and "they deserve eachother" so keep thinking OSU is some sort of Mordor of the midwest.  Kyle Kalis flipped on his commitment to OSU to verbal with UM then actively tried to pull other verbals away from OSU, that's not the run of the mill recruitment.  If he had verballed to UM day 1, no one would care.  Get your head out of your ass.

In this case it appears Bill Greene is just doing his job.  He probably could've done without the whole "bank that one" bit because that was pretty lame.  Other than that big whoop if Dunn was wearing an ohio wrist band.

If I remember correctly DeAnthony Arnett put a video up of himself wearing a Michigan hat and playing the Victors in the background.  Two or three days later he committed to Tennessee.

I agree with a previous post.  Even if he is considering Michigan a lot more he sure isn't going to say anything until it's a done deal, especially after how the fans reacted to Kyle Kalis swtiching his commitment.  If this is the case, I can't blame him for keeping quiet either.
