I live in Toledo and Beckman took a down and out Rocket team and turned them into a pretty strong and exciting team pretty quick. He can coach and is a pretty decent recruiter, I see them as a 7-8 win team consistently and possibly getting to 9-10 on occassion. |

Jaquay Williams, as long as he got some things straightened around earlier this evening in regards to his school qualifying stuff. That was from earlier this evening. Tom said he doesn't mind things being shared with other blogs, I'm guessing he means this one since he has such close ties! This is just so hard to even try to comprehend what the hell these people were doing. As a father, heck, just a reasonable human being if I were to have seen what was going on I probably would have killed the guy. For these people to have seen this, had this reported to them, and still have done nothing about it is morally incomprehensible!!! Heads will roll, there is no other way around it. The President of the University and the entire football staff are going to be gone sooner than later. They will probably get rid of Joe pa now and then the rest of the staff after the season. They will want a clean slate if for nothing else the PR nightmare if they don't. The University has got to know they are going to suffer pretty substantially in terms of lawsuits and bad publicity. I'm sure recruiting and that will suffer as well but that has to be the least of their worries. Whatever happens, it is more than deserved. To let this guy to continue to be on campus even until as late as last week when you know what they knew is just disgusting! I hope they castrate the son of a bitch and lock him up forever! I know they say innocent until proven guilty but how much evidence do you need! |

Still plenty of rooms available very close to campus including by Briarfield mall. Just finished booking my room for the game about an hour ago. I called several places that I found online and they had rooms available. Don't try to book online, just call the hotels directly. Seems to be an issue with alot of the sites because there was something where you had to book for two nights in regards to the internet bookings. If you call directly you can book for however many nights you want. Hope this helps and I'm sure I'll see you and around another 111,000 people there!

It's really hard to pass the ball when your oline isn't giving you a whole lot of time to throw and your offensive coordinator isn't trying to run the ball. Not to mention the howling wind out there. I'm not second guessing the coaches, they had a game plan, we just didn't execute it well. I do believe we should have ran the ball a whole lot more but thats just me. I hate losing to State as much as anyone, but I'm happy with a 6-1 start. I definitely believe we are much better than last year. As poorly as we played we were still 9 yards away from tying it up, on the road in terrible conditions. Last year we got blown out at home. Brady and the coaches have most of the same players but I see a huge improvement overall, and were going to continue to improve. We all hate to lose but did any of us really believe we were going to go undefeated??????? I still see 9-3 or 10-2 for us, which I think we would all have taken very happily at the beginning of the year. WE may have a ways to go but we will compete hard and continue to improve with each new recruiting class. I'm very excited about the future of this program and no shitty loss to a bunch of thugs from East Lansing will change that. I'm much more proud to be a Michigan fan and lose with class then win the way they did. There's a big difference between playing tough and physical and just plain being cheap shot artists and thugs. With tempers like that I'm sure we'll see them in jail soon enough for beating their girlfriend or getting in bar fights.(oh wait, that has already happened!) That being said, time to move on to the next one, long season yet to go. Keep the faith, this year and team are different! Go Blue!!!!!

I don't believe they have played anyone worth a darn yet on offense except Notre Dame and we all saw what happened there. I was at the MSU-OSU (front row 40 yard line, my best friend is a sparty fan) and I was completely unimpressed with them offensively. Cousins became very erratic even with a little pressue on him. The offensive line couldn't get the running game going, all in all they were lucky OSU was caught with their heads up their asses and the play calling for OSU was so awful. Their defense is nowhere near where is was last year but is still decent. Michigan will pull this one out in the fourth and send the seniors out on a good note. MSU is a good team, just not a great team and they can be had. Play tough in the trenches and don't turn the ball over and I see us with a good win! |

Or are we getting absolutely no respect from anyone across the country. Every analyst, writer, ect.. have us getting our asses kicked. I keep hearing give the points...This is BS!!! I'm not saying were going to for sure win but come on!!!! We've won two in a row, ND is being way overhyped. I keep hearing how they one they're last 4 last year, ect... People have a short memory when it comes who they beat. I see a high scoring( but not too high) game, stays close until the end, our defense makes a play to stop them in the end. I think he's going to be a good OL but I have the feeling he might night like all the competition he would have. I also think we have a great shot with Garnett and Banner. I have to say that being from Toledo and being such a huge Michigan fan that this was the one recruit I have been waiting for the most! I've seen him play many times and he is a beast. He is going to be one of Greats in AA. Can't wait to see you in the big house and enjoy your senior year of highschool! |
