Bacari's tweeting habit

Submitted by Steve Lorenz on

I just started following our gregarious assistant coach on Twitter. He's dropped over 30 (!!!) tweets today alone including 12 within the last half hour! I had to drop him off my phone because it was blowing up too much. I love the guy to death, but I had to point it out. Not much point to the thread except I felt it was time for a Bacari Alexander thread again.

First, you shout something to the internets directed towards no one person in particular. Then somebody else might find it mildly amusing, and having not shouted anything at an internet in quite some collection of minutes, will pass your random musing in the direction of some other non-descript person. Then after a while, your random thought might have flashed on the screens of many an internet, and somehow makes it back to you somehow. Then you put something else in words, do it again, and then somehow we all end up reading something about Justin Bieber

Man Bacari had that baby left handed hook working to perfection.

Yes his twitter habits can cause you to have the thought "Should I unfollow for the sake of my computer exploding due to too many LOL's?"  but then you realize how nice it is to have such an energetic young coach teaching our big men how throw some bows and play with some attitude.  For that, I'll endure as many LOL's as the man can throw out.

I'm really excited for the future of Michigan basketball, these coaching additions are going to pay definite dividends.  I just hope it pays off before U of D needs to do a head coaching search, because Bacari will be a no brainer for them sometime in the near future.

I hope people realize that Oakland is no pushover. The attendance has been pretty bad this year thus far and I really hope everyone shows up. I can understand why people wouldn't, you don't circle Oakland on the schedule expecting a showdown, but they are a damn good team that will probably play with something to prove against their in-state school. Hoping we can stop their big. GO BLUE

The michigan basketball facebook page is pretty sweet.

http://www.facebook.com/?ref=hp#!/MichiganBasketball

All the cool people are liking it.

Just an aside, the page says, "Got a big tile on Saturday at noon"  Which is obviously referreng to the giant killing Oakland team coming to Crisler...Checked urban dictionary, and tile urually refers to a fool or a pub in Ireland...Can one of you young people help a guy out?

...as well.  It's clear BA is turning out to be a great hire.  The bigs are effusive in their praise for the work he does with them, he seems to be an effective recruiter and his seemingly self-appointed role as cheerleader/marketer is infectious and reflects well on the MBB program.

His most recent "tweet" (or is it "twit", I have no idea) cracks me up:

You just experienced a Coach BA Tweet Blitz! Happy Holidays to all and to all a Go Blue night! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok exaggeration. HA!

He is a very happy go lucky guy and a great motivator.  I'm glad to have him as one of our assistants.

MGoShoe... you started a "HA!!" revolution!
