DPJ's visit went really well and all the BS going around twitter that OSU locked him up afterwards is just that, BS. DPJ and Najee were the last two kids on campus later on today. I'm actually not sure when Najee left but it was late.
All I know.
Edit: Oh and Najee was foolin in the snow on his snapchat, seemed to be loving it.

Yeah. Ohio State rarely throws the ball. I don't know why receivers would want to play there over the Harboffense.

that become receivers in the NFL.
December 12th, 2016 at 8:51 AM ^
And they're garbage.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:42 AM ^
Pryor has 63 catches for 858 yards (13.6 YPC) and 4 TDs this year. That's pretty good for a team that...sucks.
Braxton Miller has 15 catches for 99 yards and 1 TD this season. That's pretty bad.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:49 AM ^
I think he was making reference to the Pacman comments after the game calling Pryor Garbage and saying he belonged in the trash.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:55 AM ^
Right, but rather than trusting in the words of the astute and trustworthy "Pacman" Jones, the numbers suggest differently.

Well, to be fair to the others, I think Woodson said Pryor would have something like 1,800 yards receiving. That was and is a little bit outlandish.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:29 AM ^
That Pryor is not garbage, and he's far from it. He's the best athlete on the field and one of the most natural hands catchers I have ever seen. He just plucks balls out of the air. I've also been enjoying his occasional outbursts during and sometimes after the game. It at least shows me that he cares.
That dude is going to have 1000 yards this year with shit quarterbacks throwing to him. Considering he's one of the only weapons on the field that the defense has to worry about, that's pretty impressive.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:09 AM ^
Meyer has not had a WR go in the first round since he has been at OSU
December 12th, 2016 at 9:38 AM ^
True. He has had two 2nd rounders (Michael Thomas, Devin Smith).
December 15th, 2016 at 12:01 PM ^
And Thomas is probably the top rookie WR in the NFL.
What's probably being noticed is that, while young, their receivers didn't catch the ball great this year and playing time could come early in Columbus.
Also, their QB commit is actively engaged in recruiting and seems to be very well liked.
It makes a difference.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:05 AM ^
the next ten years with Michigan. Except for the fact that I know Ohio State is not good enough to beat Michigan 4-5 times in a ten year period. If this last game in Columbus was any indication of what we can expect to see, Michigan wins 7-3 in a (TYW) Ten Year War IMO.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:34 AM ^
OSU will return mostly the same team. UM will be almost entirely new players, albeit almost entirely new Harbaugh players.
7-3 is pretty bold based on the current state of each program.
December 12th, 2016 at 11:25 AM ^
So like the inverse OSU/UM situation of this year. We will have young players but they will be Harbaugh's, they'll be experienced, and the game will be in Ann Arbor. We will be fine.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:36 AM ^
Well currently 0-2 so far so sure as help hope you are right because going 7-1 over the next 8 years would feel pretty great.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:41 AM ^
I'm confident in our current direction as well, but that's unreasonable.
We had the more talented team this year (albeit was "experience talent").
The fact of the matter is that our 10+ NFL draft picks didnt beat their talented sophomores.

Can either of those be refuted? Honest question.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:21 AM ^
it's a rumor, which by definition is something that is not based on the truth, I guess we have to wait until he commits to refute it. But I don't know why a guy would visit a school several times that is not one of his final two. So there's that
December 12th, 2016 at 11:15 AM ^
Rumors are frequently based on the truth and frequently prove to be accurate. For example, last year it was rumored that Rashan Gary was going to commit to Michigan.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:31 AM ^
The rumor regarding DPJ being down to two schools (OSU/FSU) and being 50/50 on those two is from one of Jeremy Birmingham's "sources".... Hes the land of ten OSU writer. Take it for what its worth.
OSU (meyer, coombs, smith) did visit DPJ late last night according to a tweet Coombs sent out.
December 12th, 2016 at 9:44 AM ^
Well, Coombs said he was flag planting in Detroit... He didn't technically say anything about Donovan Peoples-Jones. There's a chance that he was visiting someone else or the visit didn't happen, though that's unlikely.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:10 AM ^
Correct, it was Birmingham and Brandon Justice saying it was to DPJ.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:19 AM ^
December 12th, 2016 at 10:26 AM ^
Yeah, but if you really wanted to leave home wouldn't you want to go somewhere like USC or Florida? Somewhere on par with Michigan but warm?
December 12th, 2016 at 10:57 AM ^
There is nothing scary about it. DPJ is going to Michigan. You can bank on it.

I don't have any inside information on DPJ, but having followed recruiting closer than is probably healthy for the past 30 years, there are always good signs and bad signs that you can pick up on.
Whenever, you have a local kid, who's the son of an UM alumni, who's head coach played for UM and his recruitment isn't wrapped up by the end of his junior year, than that is a bad sign.
When you look at all the advantages UM should have on his recruitment, and his desire to be an early commit, it should be surprising to everyone that he is not already in the fold. When kids like that do not commit to the legacy school until the end, there is usually a reason for it, and that reason is hardly ever good for the legacy school.
That doesn't mean we won't get him, I don't know, but there is enough in his recruitment so far to give UM fans pause.
December 12th, 2016 at 12:55 PM ^
OR, alternatively... maybe he's just enjoying the recruiting process. It feels good to have everyone want you, or so I hear. If this was me I'd milk it for all it was worth, even if I had decided where I was going to go long ago. Don't forget, Harbaugh encourages these kids to take ALL their visits and look around. I don't see any bad signs out of this at all.
The top rated kids always take longer to commit anyway. And literally just about every recruitnik out there, save for some OSU hacks, keep saying they'd be shocked if he committed anywhere but Michigan.
December 12th, 2016 at 10:14 AM ^
Sam said this morning that he has not heard anything confirming that rumor from his many contacts (including current commits and recruits that were on campus this weekend and those inside Schembechler Hall).
December 12th, 2016 at 1:41 PM ^
I always trust Sam speaking from his gut over some OSU slappy speaking from his asshole.
December 12th, 2016 at 12:13 PM ^
I secretly had an in home with Jessica Alba last night and rumors are I am in her final 2.
Can that be refuted?
NO!

That wasn't a rumor. It was on Kerry Coombs' Twitter.
That it's down to OSU and FSU I don't think is really even a rumor, just wishful thinking from some. Rumors should be based on something more.
