Only concern I have is his pull with some kids on the team and newly arrived/arriving. Tampering rules aren't enforced and this seems like a bad breakup. Some may follow him.

I think he's a good coach, but it just never seemed like he meshed well with Harbaugh's philosophy. This year was different. There was no QB run game, but that seemed to be about Cade. He's certainly not unreplaceable, but the offense was finally working. Oh well. The whispers right now are reassuring.

I won't defend the two posts you cited, but I will defend Darker Blue in that I generally enjoy his input to the blog. Did did you even read the posts to which Darker Blue had responded? Based on what I've read on this site over the last few years, the odds are his comments were spot on, if a bit extreme.
Also, as someone who is condemning another poster for his negative comments, you haven't exactly set a better example, have you?

I call bullshit, his posts have always been negative. It's not what he's necessarily saying it's how he says it to people. Calling people fucking morons has no place here. If you wants to talk and act like that there's a subreddit that he would fit just fine in.
And if I'm so negative please show me because I've tried to be a positive individual on this blog for about 15 years. Do I sometimes get heated, yes, but we all do. There's a difference than belittling people.

Thanks for the response; I am sorry I offended you. I don't believe I said you are a negative poster--I actually don't remember any specific posts of yours, nor did I look up your history. I was just communicating that this specific post mirrored the tone of the examples you referenced, items you clearly do not appreciate.
Beyond that, I generally agree with your stance about offensive name-calling and overly aggressive language. At some point this blog definitely lost its high-minded level of the average post. However, challenging others for name-calling and then shortly thereafter referring to them as "a cancer" and "a moron" don't exactly support your position. But again--I apologize for my offense.

I disagree with a lot of folks around here about a lot of different things, but 99.7% of the time I keep my mouth shut because its not worth the trouble.
I will admit that if I think someone starts a stupid thread a may mock them a little bit but I'm normally not overly disrespectful.

Yeah. I mean I'm sure whoever it is was a big sell job by the coaches... So the players are hyped maybe, to but for fans it might not be amazing. Keep your expectations low and maybe be pleasantly surprised.
Either way, after an off season with so much movement, having no coordinators in Feb seems like not a good thing

EJ Holland said he's not going to get recruit reactions to Gattis leaving because he wasn’t very involved with recruiting anyway. He said Dante Moore hardly ever talked to Gattis.

So this maybe kinda confirms some of the rumors in the other threads. From what I've gathered in the previous Gattis is gone threads, he was pulled from recruiting mid-season for some reason. One being he was possibly trying to bang a recruit(s) mom(s) or something along those lines. So it may be that, Gattis made his bed himself.

I'll respectfully disagree about this confirming those rumors. It is possible that the rumors are true. Then again, there are so many other possible explanations I could fabricate out of thin air. Until actual evidence or a witness comes forward with facts, I will be thankful if these rumors are not mentioned in any light. Just imagine for a moment that they are inaccurate and tell me how you would feel if someone were saying that about you. No thanks.
