Part of you must be very happy then..
September 6th, 2014 at 5:52 PM ^
I know Strong left but Louisville has been pretty decent lately.
/aside (Hoke will be happy tomorrow if this score holds).
September 6th, 2014 at 5:57 PM ^
Iowa is playing Ball State, not Louisville
September 6th, 2014 at 5:59 PM ^
(bad jokes are probably more fitting with the image anyways).
September 6th, 2014 at 5:54 PM ^
Iowa isn't just bad, it's really, really bad. Still a lot of football left though. If only that's what Iowa was actually playing they might have a chance.

catching passes. TD NU.

September 6th, 2014 at 5:59 PM ^
If Iowa and NW dont wake up there could be 3 losses to MAC teams today by the Big 10.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:03 PM ^
This USC game is unwatchable.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:05 PM ^
It sure has Oregon licking its chops about running away with the Pac-10 this year. Neither of these two teems like particularly dangerous, and the other contender UCLA looked like shit. If Oregon beats MSU they should run the table.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:06 PM ^
September 6th, 2014 at 6:07 PM ^
Neither one looks like a top 20 team.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:09 PM ^
It's week 2...it's going to be sloppy sometimes. Just win.
If Michigan beats ND in a similar fashion, none of us should complain.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:10 PM ^
Nah man, they're PAC-12 Juggernaughts, locked in an epic for the ages!
September 6th, 2014 at 6:22 PM ^
Yet the Pac 12 is supposedly light years ahead of the B10 according to ESPN.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:08 PM ^
We are so awful.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:10 PM ^
2 huge passes dropped by NW this game.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:11 PM ^
Iowa is a freaking steaming bowl of turd...
September 6th, 2014 at 6:12 PM ^
...if MSU and OSU struggle and we play well, we'll shoot up as the front runners in this awful league.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:13 PM ^
TO HELL WITH NOTRE DAME!
September 6th, 2014 at 6:12 PM ^
Boggling decision by Ducks to sit on sideline in sun - 110 degrees. MSU sitting in shade at 80 degrees.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:18 PM ^
Gotta heat those babies up.
Probably not going to get dark, huh?
September 6th, 2014 at 6:16 PM ^
I mean seriously. If we don't go at least 10-2 this year Hoke needs to be fired because this conference is garbage. And if we lose multiple big ten games that makes US garbage for losing to garbage.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:17 PM ^
Minnesota has played nobody for 2 weeks but at least they are soundly beating nobody for 2 weeks. That immediately makes them the 5th best team in the conference.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:19 PM ^
I fell asleep for a while. What in the hell is going on today? Northwestern has 7 points at home against NIU? Iowa has 3 points and, let's see, 66 rushing yards. 66 goddamn yards? Against Ball St??
September 6th, 2014 at 6:24 PM ^
Atleast NW has an excuse with losing their best offensive weapons.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:19 PM ^
Almost ten minutes until kickoff of the "Ow my eyes - uniformz overload - sea of green on both sides" game starts...
September 6th, 2014 at 6:20 PM ^
I don't think Northwestern losing today would be much of a surprise.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:23 PM ^
Yes NIU is decent. If NW loses today they could have a 3 or 4 win season. THey have a tough schedule although I am including "Iowa" as a tough team - so caveat.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:26 PM ^
After today I don't think we can say that anyone in the Big Ten West has a hard schedule.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:24 PM ^
I hope we hit ND just as hard or harder - without all the penalties
September 6th, 2014 at 6:24 PM ^
TROJAN FAIL! NINJA CLOAKING DEVICE
EDIT - oh wow chop block destroys the play
September 6th, 2014 at 6:24 PM ^
Wow, a penalty negates a touchdown for Stanford.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:25 PM ^
Not sure if already posted somewhere, but just saw on Twitter it looks like Butt is suited up today, has a knee brace on.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:28 PM ^
Could just be gamemenship. If he contributes would be nice to get 10-15 plays out of him but seems a bit early.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:25 PM ^
This Stanford game is beyond laughable! The refs might as well leave the flags on the field.

I think per the rules it is a chop block as they explained it. But its a bad rule if it doesnt matter the order of the chop block. I can understand if a guy is engaged high you cant come in low. That makes sense. Vice versa, I am not sure it makes sense.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:27 PM ^
isn't what it has been in previous seasons. Just an awful loss if this holds.
September 6th, 2014 at 6:28 PM ^
Well Ball State is about to win their Superbowl!
September 6th, 2014 at 6:31 PM ^
Every MAC team wins the superbowl anymore whenever they schedule Iowa.
