Difficult to support anything that's run so vastly differently than you, even as a fan, think it should be run. I hate this coaching staff so much. But there is nothing I can do about it.

What good is it to recruit well, when this staff can't develope players? Brandon has tied himself to Hoke. There won't be any changes for at least a few years. The only hope is that the donors who pay the big bucks, will put heat on Brandon.

Normally when games like this occur and I know M won't win, I stop watching, but I want to see more of Shane, even though he hasn't done anything in the second half...

What an absolute terrible game. This game is on national TV and our team is just getting embarrassed. Apparently the schedule makers for the bowl games knew this would be a shitty game, so that is why they decided to play it at 10:15 PM.

UCLA hired a UCLA alum who loved the school and recruited well for a few years until the wheels fell off. Rick Neuheisel was a True blue Bruin through and through, but he wasn't a good game day coach who had an incoherent offense and a bend but don't break defense, and the results were inconsistent at best, most of the time his responses to losses was to say his players didn't execute,you can stop me when this all sounds familiar. Jim Mora came in and through coherent coaching on offense and with aggressive defense, turned the team around on the field and kept up the recruiting momentum, and a great deal of the success was due to Neuheisel restocking the cupboard from the predecessors screwup.
It looks like it may be time to say thank you to this staff for restocking the cupboard and send them on their way. The staff will get one more year, but Dave better develop a short list right now and be ready to pull the trigger if they shut the bed again.
This game was embarrassing and the youth excuse is tired.

While it may be annoying, there aren't many teams that perform at a super high level when their most talented players are freshman and sophomores.
Next year is the year to be worried if things aren't clearly progressing.

Slick Rick also had won something prior to his failure at UCLA. Hoke won diddly poo in his entire career as an HC. Huge difference

Cupcake early season schedule(like Hoke's) made 7-6 doable with that wretched defense. RR's offense was getting better, but that's it. The rest of the team was going to shit.
Basically, there is no discernible difference between the performances of the two staffs.

if RR had gotten a decent defensive coordinator he would still be here. He did try, though, firing his friend in an attempt to save the team. I do not see Hoke doing this. Not a word about the third highest pain OC underperforming and not a word about a replacement. How can we even think of another year of Borges ?

Fuck this staff. 1 month and this is what i get? Slept 6 hours in 2 days with sick kids and get a piss poor effort all around. Offense is predictable, my ten yr old daughter called the first half. Defense --- 3rd and 13 and our corners back pedal to 18 yds off the LOS??? Sick of being a fan of this school. Suck it.
