1. Pray to the basketball gods they win 2 games in the BTT

2. Absolutely nobody should leave this team for the NBA

3. Find a fucking 4 in the transfer portal and tell Michigan admissions to fuck off

4. Run it back in 2023 w a loaded squad

I’m disappointed they didn’t make enough plays down the stretch in either game this week to pull out a massive win but I’m proud of their effort for getting the games to the positions they were in. They clearly fought and they fought hard. At the end of the day this is a young team that if they all were to come back I could see doing big things next year. We’ll see what happens they are guaranteed one more game hope they win. Keep your heads held high fellas.

welp... the Team started looking pretty good at the end of the year, but tough to overcome their poor start

two tough road OT losses sting though...They will need to win a couple of games in the tournament to have a hope now.

Sucks, but I hope guys like Bufkin and Howard stay... not sure what Hunter does, but seeing TJD play out his senior year gives me a bit of hope.

I see a lot of positives. Inexperience really shows itself in closing out games -- and we're one of the youngest teams in the Big Ten, and maybe in the country. And so we lose close games -- and so, inevitably, everybody here whines about the coaching.

But nobody seems to give Juwan credit for getting this admittedly limited team to give everybody a battle, game after game, and next year, with Llewellyn back, with Papa Konte coming in, and with another year of experience under our belt, I think this team will bounce right back.

Losing sucks, and we want someone to blame. But there's also a reason other teams in the Big Ten think Michigan fans are entitled, and sometimes the season doesn't go our way. C'est la vie. The pain will fade, and I'll cheer us on in the Big Ten and (probably) NI tournaments. Come on, boyz. Go Blue.

One more thing. The Big Ten is incredibly tight this year, and a few bounces one way or another and we could actually have won the league -- this team, with its crazy inexperience, with its defensive limitations, with its out-for-the-season point guard, with its slowness, and with its failure to get Terrance Shannon ... was crazy close not only to getting into the tournament, but actually to winning the Big Ten.

You Juwan-haters suck. I think he's done an amazing job with this team, and I'm all in.

OK, so maybe not 1st place, but they were one FT in regulation in one of 2 games away from being the #2 seed in the BTT and one FT in regulation in each of the last 2 games away from being in 2nd place in the B1G alone. They were on the cusp all season long.

Hopefully these youngsters have learned how to get that missing last ounce of effort that is needed to win.

Loaded squad is questionable. We are 50/50 in every game including Kentucky, Ohio, CMU, Eastern, Purdue and UNC. Actually I would expect more of the same minus the MAC teams with the law of averages righting the ship to a nice 6th seed in the tourney. We arent going to wake up next December to some juggernaut. We need 3 new players to emerge just to have backups at the 1 and 2 and a decent 4. 3 quality players in one off season if we lose nobody. And worse case would be replacing another half a 8 man rotation. Cheddar isnt the answer and I dont even want his deep bench minutes. Twill is busy looking busy on offense so he doesnt have to shoot.

Maybe. But nobody on this site ever factors in improvement. I remember when Eli Brooks was regularly excoriated on this site as a terrible, terrible player. Saying that Tschetter "isn't the answer" after one year is unfair. Yes, we need players to improve. But Bufkin certainly did this year, and McDaniel and Reed looked much better in March than they did in December. Why is it so impossible to imagine that a Dickinson, Reed, Bufkin, Jett Howard, and Dug McDaniel line-up could be good next year, with Papa Kante, Llewellyn, and an improved Tschetter coming off the bench?

The sky isn't falling.

Let's just face it Juwan has no feel as a head coach. It's as if he drew up his substitutions sheet before the game and he will stick to it for the game regardless of the situation.  Such a basic basketball coach with no outside the box thinking. Just horrible end of game coaching.  His players are tight in the clutch and it's probably a product of his coaching environment.

Given the way attrition has gone for us lately, I’m assuming that At least two of Kobe, Hunter and Jett are likely gone and will replaced with less talented options.

Things are trending in a bad direction for the hoops program and it is depressing.  We are going to have to get some massive help in the portal

1. They don't box-out.

2. They don't crash the boards.

3. Hunter is a bit lazy

4. Talent deficiency

5. No bench

6. Defense is subpar

7. Should not have let Frankie leave.

My hot take this week:  As a college player, Jett Howard is just Zak Irvin with a famous dad/coach.

Making the tournament is not too much to ask.  They shouldn’t fire Howard (and they certainly won’t), but any season that doesn’t end in the NCAA tourney is a failure for a program like Michigan.
