2014 BCS National Championship Open Thread

Last one, heald in the Grand Daddy of them all!

Florida State is favored by 13 on a neutral field, by some ESPN bottom line metric.  Will Jameis Winston with the Heisman and MNC and end the SEC's run of 6 straight?

Auburn is the self-proclaimed team of destiny.  Will they have one more miracle tonight?

Line: FSU - 10.5

Over/Under: 67.5

SLIGHT MOD EDIT - Not really OT for our purposes. We'll make this the open thread. - LSA

The streak is impressive, but there has also been an outragious amount of luck involved.  Any time someone backs into a title game its always an SEC team.  It also helps when you play half the games almost at home.

Also everyone conveniently forgets that Alabama only beat Texas because McCoy got hurt.  If he doesn't get hurt they destroy Alabama without a doubt.

These are the opponents Florida State has beaten this year: *Pittsburgh (7-6) *Nevada (4-8) *Bethune-Cookman *Boston College (7-6) *Maryland (7-6) *Clemson (11-2) *NC State (3-9) *Miami-Fla (8-5) *Wake Forest (4-8) *Syracuse (7-6) *Idaho (1-11) *Florida (4-8) *Duke (10-4) Maybe this game so far shouldn't be so surprising.
