Noon games galore this year and I like it!  I get to have my morning routine in tact, watch Michigan Football, and still get some things done in the afternoon.

I have been using ExpressVPN with my sister's Dish Network login to watch all the games at my place.  I don't think there are any bars that will have the game... given that I have a 3 year old and 7 month old, I don't know what a sports bar is...

The Armed Forces Network used to show the games and bars could put them on in the past.

Where in Switzerland will you be visiting?

I completely understand your take about kids.  I do have kids but they are teenagers now.  We typically have HS sports on Saturday night and/or mornings.  I do also love the 3:30 time slot because it gives you the whole morning/early afternoon to do a lot of things.  Unless I have planned to go to the game and spend my entire weekend on football, I am not a fan of night games.

This is my last football season before becoming a dad, so how to watch games next year is definitely in the back of my mind. I may have to compromise with Mrs. Translator on what games I watch live and what games get DVR'd for later consumption. Our kid is due in March, so I guess the NCAA tourney may be the litmus test.

Having a 6 month old shouldn't be too bad. It's harder when they are mobile as toddlers- then after that they start to have sports, etc and it becomes a difficult watch. Just make a compromise with her- I get to watch Michigan football in peace, and you make it up to her by taking the kid out on Sunday's or whatever and give her some personal time. At least that's what I always did.

I have kids and that's why I love noon games...but I also live on the west coast.  Which means 9am games.  Watch in the morning as everyone is kind of hanging out and then still have the whole afternoon to "do stuff".

If I lived in the ETZ though, I'd love night games because the kids would be in bed.

we have lots of kids (the 5 youngest are still teenagers).  kick-off time didn't matter, they were either happy to watch or easy to be with while i/we watched.  only time it mattered was back in the pop-warner football days when sometimes the game times would conflict.  kids >> than michigan football, didn't miss too much over the years, so glad to make the temporary trade off.

I'll be in the stands for that game. Last time I was in Bloomington for a game 2015, the IU fans were ready to rush the field and then Chesson caught a 4th down TD pass with 0:00 on the clock to send the game into OT.  What a wild game.  Hopefully this time it's a more comfortable win.

I will be there as well.  I was at that 2015 game too.  Chesson's catch was right in front of our section (side end zone seats).  We have pretty similar seats for this year's game.  I live in Indiana, so we typically go to Bloomington, and West Lafayette (been awhile).  We haven't been up to Ann Arbor since Covid.  Hopefully next year!!

Everything’s wonderful in Hawaii, but these 6 am games are getting a bit much.  I think this week I’m going to record. Figure I’ll get up at 6:15. It’ll be about 6:30 when I get in front of the TV. With the wonder of fast forward, I’ll be watching live by sometime in the second quarter.

The week of the UConn game on Big Noon Kickoff Urban was giving lots of props to Michigan and they joked he was doing that because they have Michigan the next four weeks.... That would include PSU as well.
