Great kid raised by a great woman. Very intelligent also with strong grades. Has a strong offer sheet as well. Michigan is aware of him as of this morning.

lol what's with that opposing player near the goal line at 0:20 not even bothering trying to tackle him after the INT?

Surprised to see there is no post ( I cannot create new threads yet.) about MGOFISH's recent Inside the fishbowl article where he mentioned a secret visit recently by a high profile player who is commited to another team.

Surly expected to see a thread about this along with a number of speculation who the visitior was.

A friend of mine told me a few weeks ago that he knew a recruit, who was commited to another team, met with Michigan coaches secretly in AA. My friend is trusworthy but not someone involved in the coaching staff. He lives in AA and said he saw the player.

This is not one of the common names thrown around (Khalid Kareem or Levert Hill).  I follow enough recruiting and read all the updates from the local recruiting experts and didn't see anything noted about this payer in a long long time. This is a recruit few would even think about.

I suspect this payer may be the one MGOFISH mentioned in his ITFB article.

Do I mention the rumor (possible letting the cat out of the bag too soon) or just keep it to myself?

Webb said about a month ago to "keep your eye on the recuitment of Khalid Kareem," and that it wasn't over by a long shot. He also said Michigan had stepped up its recruitment of the kicker Nordin who committed to PSU (after he commited).

Andrew David has *years* ahead of him to work out his form. Expectations that a freshman kicker is going to dominate at the college level by the fanbase are not warranted.

That said, competition makes everyone better and Nordin would be a good pick up. Looking at the train wreck that is Penn State under James Franklin (gonna get victimized again next year by my Temple Owls also) it makes sense for either of them to jump ship and get a spot at Michigan while they still can...

Free snippet from Michigan Insider via Allen Trieu on that Alabama commit:

Alabama commit to visit?

According to The Michigan Insider's Brice Marich, Cartersville (Ga.) senior tight end and Alabama commit Miller Forristall, has heard from Wolverines tight end coach Jay Harbaugh and is intrigued enough by the interest that he is considering taking an official visit to Ann Arbor. Marich added that he has not set a date yet. Forristall (6-6, 210 pounds) is a four-star prospect on Scout.

if this is the link you are talking about the picture is of a TE commit for bama from Georgia, whose name is Miller Forristall. I am not able to read the whole article but I would make an eduacated guess as to they wouldnt put the picture of one player up to talk about another player potentially visiting.

This kid is a player and at 200 lbs and 6ft, he's got a college body already. Character guy as well. Recruiting is really weird sometimes. A guy like this has a serious offer sheet but is a mystery to big schools like Michigan. Josh can play multiple positions and brings some serious fire to the game. Him and Karan are pretty close and we had them on the same squad a few years ago. This kid is one of those few guys that you can envision in the NFL one day. Legit 4.5 speed and ideal size for DB. He has the physical potential to grow into an OLB. I think he fills out ideally at about 215 or 220 and mans a safety spot on Saturday afternoons.

This kid is very strong in the legs and he's put together. Even at 220 he's going to play 4.6 which is plenty fast. As of now he's legit 4.5 and he really plays angry. Pretty cool seeing as how he's a grade A kid off the field.
