Oh, no: I've been tripped up by my own prohibition against Diaries shorter than 200 words. Hoist upon my own petard, as it were, and forced to ramble on aimlessly as I watch the word counter in Windows Live Writer inch towards the minimum. Go, word count, go. You are so far away and only getting closer so slowly. It seems impossible to get to 200 words. How do I do this on a regular basis? Hell, I publish things 10 times that length on a regular basis and oh god I'm just barely getting to 100 right now. This is probably a lesson about subjective perception. Like if I was to eat a lime after a week-long fast I'd probably be pretty okay with that, whereas now like ick. Once there was a point at which we had three different fancy whiskeys around and going back to the stuff that's 20 bucks in a 1.75 L plastic bottle—which had tasted okay before—was agony. But you get used to it again. In the future when I'm wealthier—

We (MMB) were allowed to practice in Oosterbaan, which we called "Bo's barn," before each bowl game, as soon as the team left for the bowl. That was always one of the great times of the year, except that the dorms were closed because it was Xmas break, so you had to find someone with an apartment to bunk with if you were a freshman/sophomore. We learned the show in two days and then flew to the bowl. Great times. I remember it always seemed a little tough to breathe in Oosterbaan. I got winded a lot quicker than usual. The Silverdome had the same effect. I assume the band will also get more access to Oosterbaan now that the new facility is up.

I played rugby in my time at M - 2004 Midwest Champs! - and our winter practices were held at Oosterban. Because the team has a lowly club status we couldn't get the facility until 11:00 pm, at which point we'd practice until somebody shut off the lights at around 1. Now that the football team isn't using the facility the majority of the time, other teams on campus should benefit from better practice times. But then again, I suppose practicing until 1 builds character?

The knowledge that Zoltan can now practice punting indoors must leave all of our opponents in a cold sweat. They cannot begin to comprehend the magnitude of the punting force that will be at our disposal. Bwahahaha!

"Like if I was to eat a lime after a week-long fast I'd probably be pretty okay with that, whereas now like ick." Frickin hilarious! I needed the late night chuckle. As for the new practice field, is it me or does it still seem like the punters are going to have to use the middle of the field or they'll hit the roof? If so, they won't be able to practice that roll out punt too much in doors.

Rush N Attack said. There is no way Mesko can punt in that place. That roof is going to be all scuffed up. Actually no. It's going to have a lot of holes in it.
