I can't tell if this is serious or not but if it is that's laughable.
You couldn't hear yourself think in that building today.

Trash-talking Valentine's demeanor is the true embodiment of State fans everywhere. Go Blue!

WIN THE B1G.

Got most of his scoring via backdoor cut, but he competed hard on the board!
Nik was on fire at 2nd half and it came at a great time when Michigan needed a run to pull away.
Caris has been great all game long. He is starting to take over when teams are taking away Nik.
HUGE win over MSU!

So far, this was my favorite game to watch this season. It seemed that everyone was excited to play. Everyone put in an effort today and it showed. Great win!

This is crazy.

Has anyone heard if State's had injury problems? They've been very circumspect about it.
February 23rd, 2014 at 2:42 PM ^
But MSU played without Dawson and Appling and Payne were obviously still hurt.

Muppets should be emblazoned across the sky. They should rename some constellations "Temptation" and "Hawaiian War Chant".

I could watch that for hours....

Yup, I am now caught in a never-ending 5 second loop of Happiness, where balls hang forever, until they are forced to go back home...A place I like to call the Hoop.
February 23rd, 2014 at 3:58 PM ^
I swear that ball hung up there for what seemed like an eternity. Stauskas threw it to no one..then GRIII materialized...

I'm not a big believer in Momentum, but that Levert three at the end of the half was huge. And then Stauskas stepped up big time in the second half. Hope the latter is a sign that he's going to play down the stretch more like he did in the beginning of the season.

I watched the Lego movie with my kids, and since then, that song "Everything is Awesome" has been stuck in my head.
Watching that game actually made it OK.

I almost forgot about all the recruits at the game.
That COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A BETTER ENVIRONMENT to watch a game! That was the most fun I've had watching a regular season game in a long time.

I consider myself a regular MGoBlog reader but I don't know the origination of The Muppets as our flag of jubalation. Could anyone explain to me why I am trained to love seeing The Muppets on the home page?
February 23rd, 2014 at 6:11 PM ^
I think it was from the aftermath of the 2008 Wisconsin game in football. Someone had recently found these Muppet videos and then a jubilant Brian, following that comeback, put them up on the front page to celebrate the occasion - a "Words can't describe this feeling so here's Muppets" kind of deal.

The football staff should be buying drinks for Coach B for putting on a terrific show for the visitors.

State can't guard Nik like Iowa, IU and Wiscy apparently can. Maybe they did for a half but can't withstand it.
Payne was gassed halfway through the first half.
Appling's fall early in the second half ended his perimeter shooting. He clearly hurt his right wrist again and never ever took a shot longer than 3 feet after. Harris was on fire though. Valentine was a lot of trouble for us as well.
Lavert just knows when to take control of a game (early) and Nik knows when to end it (late).
I am so impressed with how well this team hits the free throws at the end of a game.
What a great experience to witness live.

Late to the party like usual.
