That was quite the licking Barnum put on Leach on that first play

In my head, I pictured Gallon asking "How my hair look, Carvin?" as Johnson approached.
/poorly crafted Wire reference

"Your hair look good, girl." I love a good Wire reference. Jeremy Gallon does a great impression of Snoop Pearson whether he realizes it or not.

In that area he is talking about and there is alot of talent to come out of his high school. Warren Sapp Sammy Smith to name a couple.

I was really hoping he would do a RichRod impression.
Well done Jeremy.

I believe Day 1 is going to be a countdown of the Top 10 plays at Michigan Stadium, as voted by the fans on mgoblue.com.
August 31st, 2010 at 11:43 AM ^
I'm going to go vote right now.

That impression just landed Gallon some extra laps in practice. Good vid, though.

I talked to him a little at Fan Day...I love that he's always smiling!
August 31st, 2010 at 9:43 AM ^
The team seems to have a lot of players like that these days.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:42 AM ^
I'm in a college fantasy football league with my buddies from Ohio State. I need a team name that rips on Ohio State and since I'm at work I can't put any serious thought into it. I tried to post it as a thread topic but they deleted it for some reason.
Any good Ideas??

Gotta go with the $uckeye$

(damn, there goes my lifelong streak of never typing a team name with a $)

help me get throught the toughest 30 days of the year. I don't know how I did it before... The more I think about it, the more I think UM will crush UConn this Saturday. Even though our rush defense has been awful the last two years, I think playing Roh at linebacker is the key. He will now be matched up with TEs and LBs instead of OTs. That's a big difference, and they won't block him. We are back bitches. Be scared, be very scared.

it's the fact that we haven't been to a bowl game. That cuts down the wait time until the next season by a good six weeks when we go to a bowl.
August 31st, 2010 at 10:59 AM ^
Plus I wonder if the bowl practices really do help player development or not. I think we'll get to find out this year.

Gotta love the fact that he's wearing a long sleeve shirt in august. The down south boys always seem to be a little cold no matter what time of year it is, if they aren't in the deep south. I'm from Georgia and I've been contemplating bringing up a long sleeve shirt for the game. Gallon just sold me on it!

Gallon is going to do big things here at Michigan. He has very good hands and is quite physical for his size. Definitely can use him on punt and kickoff returns as well. He always has a great smile on his face and that is a great sell for other recruits to see how happy these guys are here at UM

It's interesting that he said Rod Smith is the slot receivers coach. I believe that position was coached by Calvin Magee (along with the tight ends) last season, and Rod Smith only coached the quarterbacks. I guess there's been some reshuffling.
