It's going to be embarrassing if Michigan loses this game. That's 10 guys suspended.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:27 PM ^
exactly, if we win, i don't want to hear that it isn't a quality win, and if we lose i don't want to hear that we lost to half of a florida team. this is getting annoying.
on the other hand, this is what happens when humans and sharks interbreed.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:39 PM ^
Let's just make sure to beat them 49-6 so that talking point (UF didn't have all their guys) won't matter
August 30th, 2017 at 3:46 PM ^
What is going on over there?
Maybe that SEC speed was too much even for Scarlett. Needed to get himself suspended for a game just to take a break.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:51 PM ^
when it comes to suspending players.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:23 PM ^
as it appears they share the same suspension spirit.
And just like up at Staee, each Florida player gets his own red lock.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:54 PM ^
I think he ticked off the D-line by mouthing off KNOWING he would be suspended! The backup RB must owe him money.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:09 PM ^
He doesn't move well side to side, so he's suspended.
August 30th, 2017 at 5:47 PM ^
but maybe he won't be able to move side-to-side because his jail cell is only 8x12. ; )
August 30th, 2017 at 4:30 PM ^
are discretionary and not required by the University. Its possible he feels his team isn't ready for the Michigan team and decided to give himself an excuse when he loses. If he wins, the press will say great coaching job.
How's that for positive logic? :)

I like your theory. IMO, McElwain is in over his head at Florida. I think he is terrified of Harbaugh and feels that if he gets crushed again, his seat will begin to warm up. McElwain, Nuss and whoever their DC is vs. Harbaugh, Pep and Don Brown - I like our chances and McElwain probably does as well.
August 30th, 2017 at 6:29 PM ^
He's afraid he can't beat us full strength, so he can use this as an excuse when they get their asses handed to them Saturday.

Oh, that won't matter. I actually had a PSU fan get chesty with me a few months ago. He started to brag about winning the Big Ten. I reminded him that we blew their doors off and quickly came back with the injury or two that kept their players out against us. If one player is injured that gives a fanbase an absurd out no matter the score.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:27 PM ^
Their injuries were on defense. No effect on their offense.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:30 PM ^
I'm sure you reminded him that the Linebackers being injured had nothing to do with their offense having less than 200 yards.

not to be a downer but.. 49-10 didn't stop the "PSU is better than Michigan" debate last year.
August 30th, 2017 at 8:37 PM ^
That score may not be enough. If last year is any indication. We routed PSU 49-10 and by the end of the year had numerous people discrediting it because they were missing some of their stronger players on defense.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:43 PM ^
They lost 3 guys that matter. Their best safety, their best WR, and their best RB. The 10 players thing is a little inflated. Still, losing 3 of their best players leaves them vulnerable.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:47 PM ^
saying michigan only has 1 returning starter on defense, but rutgers has 8 returners so they will have a much better defense. whose defense would you rather have?
August 30th, 2017 at 4:02 PM ^
but after that, they didn't lose anything!
August 30th, 2017 at 4:17 PM ^
from The Jerk.
August 30th, 2017 at 7:59 PM ^
they didn't have a "best QB" to begin with.

Don't worry about the shit that people will say if UM wins. As far as I know, the only people of the guys suspended who are of any importance to UF right now are the RB and WR.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:42 PM ^
That's what you get from humans and sharks interbreeding. Not suspensions. I think.

juuuuust watched this movie for the first time in years a couple weeks ago. I now feel much more "with it" than had I not DVR'ed it when I saw it on the schedule.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:40 PM ^
It really is a movie that has "aged" well IMO, considering how much technology has changed & how the Cold War/USSR evolved over the past 25 years.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:46 PM ^
thanks you for watching this film and invites you to come to Montana.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:16 PM ^
How many of these 10 guys were going to play?
3?
I agree, and the media will have a field day. BUT...I don't think Michigan automatically loses with no Higdon, Crawford, NIck Eubanks, JaRaymond Hall, Kwity Paye, James Hudson, Josh Uche, Drew Singleton, Nate Johnson, and J'Marick Woods.
And I don't know the comparisons...but those 10 may be more important than the 10 UF has lost. There's guys on my fake list that actually play past Higdon and Crawford.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:37 PM ^
Yeah, it will still be a game.
What I really hope they lost, more than any particular player, is their focus.
We saw what happned the last time that occurred.
They just can't seem to take Michigan seriously.
Excellent.
August 30th, 2017 at 4:59 PM ^
Thankfully, we can't relate to that anymore and you can't make a meaningful comparison with our current roster.
August 30th, 2017 at 10:17 PM ^
Perine is a solid back just like Evans and Higdon.
It's still UF, they're still going to have some athletes at WR.
I'm not saying it doesn't hurt them, of course it does...I'm saying it's still a solid victory if/when we win. I'm saying we still need to come to play. They're not all of a sudden Purdue.
And it's not like we're playing outdoors in the heat or it's late in the year where guys are dinged and tired.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:24 PM ^
AHAHA. The guy talking shit about our defensive line won't even be allowed in the building. Probably better for the sake of his health.
August 30th, 2017 at 3:31 PM ^
We'll see in a couple of days whether this ages like OU's backup QB calling tOSU's defense "basic"

August 30th, 2017 at 3:24 PM ^
Guess he doesn't have to worry about how quickly our D-line moves anymore.
