OT - What Other College Teams Do You All Follow?
North Carolina, grad school.
Albion College, best friend went there.
Same, sans Albion (however, I threw down at Sigma Chi's Derby Days in the 80's). My daughter starts undergrad at UNC this fall and we live a few miles south of Chapel Hill.
oh cool, great area. I remember thinking Carrboro was a cool change of pace, and there was an up and coming new area I think near the Lumina Theater. Have only been back once for our 5 year reunion, where we beat ND of course, ha!!
Well, I read recently that MSU will be great as long as D'Antoni is their head coach...
Mike Leach football is fun and Leach himself is just as fun.

and his Taco smothered taco Tacos back in there. I live in Manhattan and the fall was a lot more interesting for a few years. Why he called off the dogs instead of hanging a hundred on Nebraska, the world will never know.
UMD football, because it's local and because they are perennially good.
I used to be sort of a sideways fan of LSU when they were underdogs. I still prefer them in the SEC, but the, um, suspected corruption makes it less enjoyable. Still, their home games are a blast to watch.
they're kind of like the Michigan of Division 2
Air Force, as I went there for undergrad.
UCLA, as I have been a lifelong fan, my Dad put me on that path from the moment I understood what sports even were.
and those in the teams
Johns Hopkins (undergrad) for lacrosse.
Florida State VERY vaguely because my dad's friend is a professor there.
Penn State because it's the closest I had to a legitimate hometown team.
-Whoever is playing against Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame.
- Georgia, but may switch to Miami, because I think it would be cool to see them regret getting rid of Richt.
- UNI (Northern Iowa) FCS or 1AA whatever they call that.
- Grand Valley State
- Valdosta State
other college teams?? HAVE YOU ALL GONE MAD?!?!
Well, I work for the University of Iowa, so I kinda have to pull for them in all games unless they play Michigan
but I think it's morbidomichilingus.

However, my buddy and I do a Midwest sports podcast, so I cover Michigan, Notre Dame and Indiana while he does Ohio State and Purdue. I don't root for them, but I'm preparing to follow them this fall.

I'll check scores from other teams but I follow Michigan.
I go to San Diego State football games occasionally because they're cheap and readily available, although I wouldn't say I follow them, it's just more that I like going to any live sporting event. Same for University of San Diego, except with basketball (also, they're my law school alma mater).
I have a sister that went to Notre Dame, a brother who went to State and a counsin who is a Georgia fan.
So, I always hope UGA wins.
four family members went to State and my wife is a UNC grad.
GO HEELS!
Butler basketball. I grew up in Indianapolis. My sister is a grad and met her husband there. Brad Stevens also worked directly under my father at a large company right out college before getting a full time gig at Butler (obviously before the Celtics).
I recall that Stevens had worked there for a brief time.
There are other teams?
Alabama-grad school. RTR
it's where my wife went, so, yeah.
lived there in the fall of 2009 when they first won again...was a pretty amazing few months. I am still in awe of gameday down there, and I have high standards.
GVSU - Undergrad
Missouri State (LOL, nobody roots for Missouri State football)- Grad School
Navy - Dad served, huge fans of Navy Football
Georgia Tech - Best of all the evils in that area of the Nation. Became a fan during the Reggie Ball - Calvin Johnson days. Still a fan supporting Paul Johnson (former coach of Navy, 45-29 record)
I root for Arizona and now I'll root for Oregon because of Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke, but otherwise, I don't have a vested interest in any other school...except hoping that MSU, OSU, and a few others lose games.
There are some teams that are a lot of fun to watch, though. I like watching Oregon, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Alabama, Georgia Tech, and others.
