I'll be surprised if OSU doesn't just wear IU down and win by 7-10. But I sure hope that IU saved some tricky shit for the second half.

Mark Richt uses B1G weather as a recruiting advantage and he is laying an egg under a drizzle and 82° in Athens.

I think the point here is that the warm weather isn't gonna help him on the field.

Who is the color guy for the IU game? If he were Meyer he would go for it on 4th and 1 from his own 16? Really?
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:43 PM ^
statistically you should go for it on 4th and 1 once you're passed your own 9 yard line.
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:46 PM ^
Not sure if serious. Either way, OSU has somehow struggled against the IU front today. Going for it is unnecessarily risky when the IU offense can't move the ball without Howard.
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:50 PM ^
its according to new york times fourth down bot and based on nfl stats. Obviously its also based on seasons of data and the data from this game would tell us that it would be a very risky decision so I actually agreed with you.
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:57 PM ^
Just seems odd to pick your own 9 yard line. The risk/reward seems way too high back there. Especially with how conservative a lot of coaches play 4th down plays.

Jesus, Georgia. I didn't think you would blow it this badly. I was expecting the heart breaking loss.

If Indiana can pull this off we'll have a plethora of ranked teams! And 3 in the top 10 because a loss to Indiana is like losing to Auburn - wont drop you too far!
Indiana, OSU, MSU, UM, NW (top 10), and Iowa will move into top 20 to replace Minn maybe. Wisconsin and Minn I guess fall out.
So I want OSU to lose only for conf strength! ;)
Also how cool would it be for Iowa, NW, and Indiana to be duking it out for the west championship. :)

I still actually think Alabama is the best team in the country as far as upside. I know they lost a five turnover game with a fluky TD pass to Mississippi, but there's no team I'd feel better about placing a bet on on any given Saturday.
I wouldn't vote them #1 in a regular poll because they lost a game. But in a power poll I would.

It was fun while it lasted. You suck, IU.
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:51 PM ^
Welp. That was fun for a while.
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:52 PM ^
If OSU scores 30 unanswered now that will suck. Because Indiana's D is fully capable of allowing that.
October 3rd, 2015 at 5:53 PM ^
Indiana has done their best all game to give the game to Ohio . Receivers not catching easy wide open passes. Terrible coaching .
This is one of those games Indiana could win if they didnt play so dumb.

MSU backup tackle who was playing for Conklin (himself injured) broke his leg today - Finley from Cass Tech. Their other starting tackle has been out most of the year so if Conklin cant come back they will be playing #4 and #5 tackles.
EDIT - actually looked like they moved center Jack Allen out to tackle to take the spot in game. Put in a rs fr at guard.
October 3rd, 2015 at 6:01 PM ^
Did they say when Conklin is coming back? With #4 and #5 tackles, I see a big advantage for our DL. I wish we still had Mario.
October 3rd, 2015 at 6:08 PM ^
No they are quiet on Conklin and Kieler. Sounds like Kieler wont be back for UM as on crutches still. Conklin they have under wraps so no idea. Would be huge if he cant go and even if back I wonder if he has physical issues. No one knows the injury though.
October 3rd, 2015 at 6:06 PM ^
And yet they will probably still play at an All-Big Ten level.
