- Move the game up to a 10am or 12noon kick to get the event done and people gone with the help of daylight and before the worst of the weather arrives
- Move 3.5 hours inland and play in Morgantown, WV? Still rain, but not as likely to be an dangerous/emergency situation
- Move 5 hours north to Syracuse' Carrier Dome (nearest covered field)
- Screw geography and play at Lucas Oil in Indy
These are terrible options.

We'll be fine, but I'll bet they change something. Either move the game to Friday night or to Saturday morning in Maryland, or move it to Ann Arbor. Frankly, I think that Maryland doesn't expect to win. Michigan could fill the stadium, and still give the Terps a bunch of money. And Friday night or Sat. morning in the rain is ok, if they are able to get everyone out of Dodge by Sat. night. It sounds like they really don't want people in the area trying to fly out on Sunday.
I personally would hate to be in DC with this kind of event. I was in Norfolk over Labor Day weekend to visit my daughter. The DC traffic is so bad, I drove the alternate route (through WVa) rather than go anywhere near DC.

Maryland's bye week is October 17th. Our bye week is October 24th.
Postponement doesn't seem like a likely option. So it must be a time change, site change or both.

from Ann Arbor: The Michigan Wolverines! (if the game is moved to The Big House and Maryland is the "home" team).
September 30th, 2015 at 5:11 PM ^
No booing the visiting team that day.
Only other time I remember that happening was at the Air Force game a couple years ago.
September 30th, 2015 at 5:15 PM ^
did the Tempatation "you suck" chant either. I certainly didnt because my daughter is a SSgt in the USAF and my wife said that would not be "right".

Cheer the visitors!!
Boo the home team!!

they wouldnt cancel right?
September 30th, 2015 at 5:35 PM ^
LSU game was canceled earlier this season but that wasn't a conference game...wouldn't think they would outright cancel it.

Ford Field would be better...at least the Lions might have an opportunity to learn something.

Harbaugh (dressed as Patton) issuing orders to the coaching staff before they head into the hurricane...

you totally chose the wrong clip.
Harbaugh would insist on a weather prayer!

Logical places:
-WVU's stadium in Morgantown (WVU is @ Oklahoma Saturday night). It still might be in the rain area, though.
-Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. The Steelers play home Thursday night but Pitt is away on Saturday...4-5 hour drive from DC area.
Other than Ann Arbor, of course.

One issue would be that the grounds crew would have to get the field ready for another game on Saturday. Heinz is a grass field and has been ranked the worst field in the NFL by players survey. I think this is because it gets so much use between the Steelers and Pitt Panthers. I doubt they would want to add another game to the mix, but who knows.

I second that! PLUS, Michiganders can stay through the weekend and catch the Lions dismantle the Seachickens on MNF!! You can all stay at my house.

I approve that format. I'll take Bo Jackson.

It seems like there are 3 options here.
1. Move up the kickoff to noon(or sometime earlier in the day).
2. Move the game to A2.
3. Move the game to a neutral field.
I'm going with option1.

why harbaugh cannot just prevent the storm from reaching land until after the game with the sheer brute force of his will.
