OT: Little Caesars Hot n' Ready: Delicious pizza with great value? Or low class garbage?
On a whim tonight, I decided to pick up a Hot n Ready pizza. Not a frequent pizza eater, but was very hungry and wanted something tasty right away. I have to say, for the price it's actually pretty decent pizza. I used to make fun of it in the past, but in a world where you can't even get lunch for under $8, they've certainly converted me.
I thought I'd pose this question to the MGoBlogosphere. Is this good value pizza? Or just rubbish?
A hot and ready isn't inedible (obviously I have high standards).
If I'm in a hurry and want cheap food, it's an option.
Well that all depends...

I don't know why, but the three LCs in Shiawassee County, and only these three, sell this flavored cream cheese-ish spread that takes the Crazy Bread from intolerable to phenomenal.
Man, that stuff is prime. How the hell did we fall into that kind of fortune? Best cheese dip I've ever had.
You know, it works when you have kids that want pizza and want it right now and there's really no Plan A for dinner, it is a feasible option and cheap. We have a pizza night in the house at least every other week or so, and we normally will just order from Jet's or Hungry Howie's, but there are evenings when everyone is running around, everyone is tired and wants to eat now and Little Caesar's admittedly fills a hole in those situations - but no, it is not a favorite by any stretch (I will pass on it when I get it for others).

The one near my work we would get hot n sweatys for lunch all the time and they were awesome with the butter crust.
Near my house I tried one and htey're awful. I spoke to a guy in the know and he said they have different ovens, the one near my work has a gas oven and the one near my house has an electric oven. Makes a big difference.

sometimes they half-ass it and skimp out on the cheese, but LC usually comes through for a quick tasty meal. The deep dish is so much better tho.
Its way better than Rich Rod(Digiorno) with a side of Brady Hoke(Great Value).

I have been places that have put out a load of Little Caesars Hot & Ready's. I passed them every time and waited to eat later. It's not even worth it for free. In fact, I think I would pass on eating a slice for $5 paid to me.
I haven't had Happy's since the one in Ann Arbor had a "friendly fire" a couple years ago. Agree though, they had solid pizza for around the same pricing.
I tried Happy's when the owner of one brought a few pies to a job I used to have. I tried it even though it looked cheap and awful. My eyes did not decieve me.
I couldn't believe it when THAT was the pizza Nate Burleson thought was worth reaching to pick up off the floor when driving. You make how much money? But a real pizza instead of getting a freebie for being a Lion.
I keep a bunch of frozen DiGiornos on hand. It's quick and easy and better and more consistent then most of these places. But my family says I'm a bore.

This is what you do as soon as you meet the 100 point threshold on mgoblog? You ask if a 5 dollar hot and ready is worth it?
Least its not another Nike post.
Great value.
Long live Illich!
