PS:  Pipkins scholarship value broken down, is about $6000 per tackle that he made in his career.  He got a ton out of his scholarship and IMHO should count his blessings that he can still walk and talk.

So if he had more tackles then he'd be able to go to the media and air out his laundry?

Got it.

What's the number of tackles? If this was Pipkins calling out Morgan, who has way more tackles, what would be your logic then?

Two terrible posts by you.

I absolutely would.

I didn't say anything wrong or anything that wasn't true. Wasn't out of frustration or spite or whatever is making this poster be a complete ass.

I have no problem saying that again, in person, over Skype, FaceTime, by messenger --- because it's the truth. I have no problem speaking the truth to anyone.

Yost, the point is that Pipkins received a lot of actual monetary value in exchange for his often-injured seasons of poor production.  He is another one of "Hoke's sons" who did not pan out to his recruiting hype.

The value that he received from Michigan, in exchange for his production has been tremendous.  That is enough for most guys to accept the reality and ride off in to the sunset with a very expensive, and highly respected degree from U-M.

To go to the media and play the Victim... will natrually make others wonder "what exactly are you bitching about?  You got far more out of this than you produced"

But this is America...the land of narcissitivity, so the guy has to make a spectactle of himself and bring others down in the process.

Because it implies that if he was a star, he'd have the right to do what you're saying he's doing because he would've fulfilled some type of agreement that says "you can be a sell out if you produce."

Just weird that someone would use money and production as the reason for someone should keep his/her mouth shut. Think about that for a second. Extrapolate that analogy to something more serious, like domestic violence and see how that train of thought is wrong even in this much more simple situation.

Good to see the whiny michigan entitled who immediately judged harbaugh handling of the situation stuck in the corner with the dunce cap on

The site is about Michigan sports, not a forum for you to insult our fan base.  There are a world of political blogs where you can engage in endless circle jerks or enter virtual cage matches.  Your value here is well below zero.

I am appalled at all of the holier than thou types thinking it's safe to rise up out of their holes to take shots or pass judgement.

Clearly some of our fanbase are lurking for any opportunity to start a mutiny.

Stand by this staff and this team with solidarity; or at least exercise patience, wisdom and balance.

Wait for the facts. Throw no stones prematurely.

While we don't know there is a direct relation to Pipkins on this one, it can safely be assumed.

I still feel for Pipkins, as he had a ton of potential and I wanted to see him finally live up to it this season, but oh well. But it's good to see Morgan, who I believe to be one of the leaders of this year's team, backing Harbaugh up.

Best of luck next year, Pipkins.

I read the comments most of the time and write rarely but I am amazed after 100's of comments that we neglect facts of the case. Maybe we need next to our avatar's reminders. Such as ... The opening up the scholarship makes no since because we already said no to a de  from N.D. and we could not give out 3 scholarship's  to walk- on's if we needed one badly. Arthritis, concussion's and continue knee problems from acl tear makes it unsafe for further play. Etc. Etc. Then we could get to other discussion's like dr.'s ....well we don't really know anything for sure there. I'm sure there is something to discuss Discus Man?

Probably because Drew was on the toilet when Ondre called so he couldn't get through to him...Next, call ESPN. Makes perfect sense to me.

2 coaches have retweeted Morgan's tweet. If this is really about Pipkins, then not a great look to have coaches retweeting something negative like that about a player. The two coaches who have retweetd it are Chris Partridge (recruiting coordinator) and Joe Hastings (who is a grad asistant coach on the defense).

First, if Pipkins were at any but about ten or 12 programs in the country, this wouldn't have been national news.

Second, I willing to cut Pipkins some slack, even if his statements are slanted and leave a few key details out.  He's what, 22 or 23 years old, and he's shooting the messenger who's telling him his goal for likely half of his life is over. I'm sure he still has people telling him he can make it in the NFL, and he probably hasn't quite come to terms with that not likely panning out either.   I've taught at several universities, from Big 10 to Div. 2 and NAIA.  I've seen football players at all levels convinced they have a shot at the NFL. Those with the accolades like  Pipkins received in high school have a more realistic shot than most, but they have a hard time accepting that even then it's a long shot.  It's never easy facing the realization that what you'd been working for, hoping for, dreaming for the past decade or so just isn't in the cards.  And anger and resentment are pretty natural responses in a situation like that.

about the NFL in the ESPN article was: "The lineman added that Harbaugh said he did not believe he would be drafted into the NFL for medical reasons". So I don't know why you are making this all about the NFL. His comments mostly were about him feeling that he was healthy, able to play at a high level and wanting to play for the seniors and his team.
