Who are (or will be) Kelly's coordinators?

but I'm pretty sure this is the DC's first year. He fired the last one after last year. Think he ended up at USF. Anyways, I don't think he would necessarily be tied to that guy as DC. Assuming ND has a larger pool of cash for assistants, I wouldn't be surprised if he went and tried to get a top notch guy.
Also, it will be interesting if he keeps any of the current assistants on staff. He might be wise to try to keep Corwin on staff for his contacts in Chicago.

most of Kelly's staffs at GVSU and CMU stayed when he left for other jobs (hence why those programs are still in good shape). Expect Kelly to take some but not all staff members and reel in a nationally recognized D-coord

Would it be worth it to go after Tenuta if ND cuts him loose? I know, I know, I know, that would be four D Coordinators in four years, but he might be that much better than GERG (although ND's D sucked this year). Just askin'.

Saying "Just askin'" doesn't absolve you of your sins my son. The GERG is the man. Did you watch 'the game' this year? He will do great things here.

I heard on the radio that Chuck Martin, the current head coach for Grand Valley State, was a candidate for the DC position. He worked under Kelly at GVSU at that same position before becoming the HC after Kelly left.

That would be kind of scary for GVSU, seeing as Martin was a Kelly guy and I'm not sure if there are any connections left since Kelly has been gone. Perhaps the O-coordinator?

I remember not too many years ago when Jon Tenuta was one of the hottest names in college football. The apex of his rep might have occurred in relation to a job that didn't happen: Herbie announces on ESPN that The Hat is coming to Michigan and bringing in Tenuta. For 15 minutes Michigan fans were giddy, not only because Miles was coming but because he was bringing one of the best DCs in the country with him.
Fast forward a couple of years, and now everybody in the country has been lambasting Charlie Weis for having a crappy defense, which played a large part in his firing. And the DC for Weis this past season was none other than Tenuta.
The odd thing is that very little national criticism (that I've seen, at least) has been directed at him; all of the venom has been aimed at Weis.

Yeah I was looking at the season ending stats for the offense yesterday and was really wondering how it amounted to only 6 wins.
