So is Darboh but Indiana. It's too little too late for this staff but maybe we've got some talent that with the right staff can do big things next year.
Auburn went from worst to first (or so) why not us (with a different staff)?

consistently. Don't care if IU sucks--it's so damned welcome.

I don't care at all that its Indiana. I'm just happy to see the boys getting after it, playing well and having some fun.

Thanks!

No matter the w/l record or anything else, good to see them playing hard and having success.

I was going to make an appreciation thread but thank you Jim Delaney for giving us this Indiana team for homecoming.

This Indiana defense is one of the worst in the entire nation.
Brings things back down the earth with NU (bad), Maryland(bad, but lucky) and Ohio (good) up next.

Yes, it's Indiana.
If we have learned anything from this lost decade it's to not take wins for granted.

Lol. I read your post right as they showed Hoke doing what he does best.

It's amazing how bad our coaching staff has been in evaluating talent. What in the hell are they looking at during these amazing practices we apparently have.

Its been a while since we could justly do the wave in the Big House

That's a good feeling, it's been awhile we've won two out of three in a row...

Hole to the right - Smith cuts back to the left.
Where have I seen this before?

So let's give it to everyone but him. Goddammit.

on Brady Hoke clapping: "Do they have that on a loop?"

He is hitting holes fast enough that it is overcoming how bad the line blocks

Has the best vision of any back we have...we knew that coming into the season. Not sure why he's been such of a forgotten man.

Those coaches, though.

Looks like Johnson is taking hold of the #1 spot. Never would've thought I'd see that when he first committed
November 1st, 2014 at 6:08 PM ^
Whoa hold on there. Brady Hoke's still coaching. Johnson might still be #4 in his eyes.
November 1st, 2014 at 6:13 PM ^
Albeit versus shitty comp, but he's always looked IMO, I saw a few practices live last year before the season and he was clearly the best back on the team. Even over Fitz.
He's just big enough, just fast enough, and he's got great vision. IMO he should've always been the #2 even if that was techinically the #3 with Smith and Green splitting reps as the #1.
Johnson and Hayes aren't as talented as Green and Smith, but with a shitty OL, they're the best options. For Michigan, they're better, for Alabama, Green and Smith would be All-World and the other 2 would be looking backups.

At least it was something for having some passion for a penalty

The D will be tested by both NI and Maryland, but it all hinges on the offense possessing the ball and scoring points.
It may not be a very glamorous bowl, but any bowl is a plus.
November 1st, 2014 at 6:13 PM ^
Will beat Northwestern and Maryland. If they can keep it going we'll go bowling.
