I've supported Hoke since day one but eventually you have to realize being the players butt buddy doesn't make you a good coach. I'm sick of seeing a team with this much talent underperform year in and year out. At what point do we start putting the blame where it belongs?

I have no idea...prolly a little of both I guess.  I got downvoted for thinking ND would win this game in the prediction thread, but I expected a close game.  This is just disapointing.  We can do much effectively right now.

My wife, who knows very little about football and has watched Michigan for only the past 8 years said "I'm waiting for a season where I don't have this feeling while watching them play". Me too, me too

Well, I would rather save a few years on my life, I will read about how bad it was tomorrow. I'm off to see if Oregon can beat MSU. At least it's a competitive game. This isn't a rebuild or cycle we are going thru anymore, this is the new norm.

The real question is what Hoke has planned for the teams halftime snack. does he go with orange slices or Capri sun? grapes? bananas? Can anyone who reads this neg me please? Thank you.

Game over.  Nothing improved about this team.  UM will not be elite with this coaching staff.  Will be good yes, but never elite.  Should see some improvement by year 4 if that were so.

Back the fucking brinks truck right up to one of the Harbaugh's, I don't care if it's jack, hoke is over his head. Either the recruiting experts are off or we can't develop, embarrassing.

I am disapointed with our DBs, but Peppers and Taylor are both down.  I know Countess is getting burned too.  But, the same young problems are there and it's real early in the season. I'll take an early loss any day if we can improve over the course of the season.

I'm tired of that bullshit excuse. This is Lloydball all over again. Drop an early game every year. We are Michigan. We have all the resources possible and we should be beating these teams. It would be different if this game was close but we're getting destroyed.

I'm tired of it too, but it doesn't make it untrue.  ND has just as many resources.  Why SHOULD we beat them?  They have the same talent, pay coaches the same way, recruit the same way. What makes UM better in your mind?  Granted we shouldn't look so bad, but it's not like UM hasn't made ND look bad before.  They're just having a bad night.  I'm sorry, but UM will never be Bama with Saban, USC with Carroll, or even OSU for that matter.  They will never win 10 games in 8 out of 10 years the way OSU has.  It just won't happen.  Just let go of that idea.  If that's your expectation IMO you're setting yourself up for disapointment.  That doesn't mean we can't compete with them, but we don't have every resource.  We don't have a talent rich state or a state without another big program in it.  And although the resources and tradition that UM has are there, it also creates problems to get things accomplished too when they get stuck in the past or want things to be the way they used to.  UM is not good with change and neither are their fans.  It is what it is man.

This team is soft in the middle and when Taylor went down, it apparently was over.  No QB pressure and terrible coverage.

Another 7-5 season and Hoke may be looking at a hot seat.  MSU will manhandle this team
