Noon Games Open Thread
Didn't see a thread going so I figured I would get one going. There are a whole bunch of thoroughly mediocre games starting, but it's football so you are going to be watching anyway.
Personally, I'm mostly watching PSU and Akron. Akron looked good early, but sputtered at the goal line and derfed a chip shot field goal. PSU is not having much trouble now on offense.
Purdue, Wisky, Nebraska, Illinois, and Rutgers are also playing. All are playing awful teams.
I'm also interested in this Oklahoma game. I don't understand why they are ranked so high.

I dont really have a hate for PSU like some others I guess. Most like it is due to Carr making Paterno cry the first 29495 times we played them. Lately they have had our number but I remember how PSU was going to run over the Big 10 when they got in, and Carr's teams would smack them constantly, even when they had top 10 teams. It was fun.

Hate the bottom 3 more. At least the buck I guy. That guy is a douche and most OSU fans even think so.
The top 3 guys just creep me out.

I think I'd like to fight Buck I guy.

Damn. They are gonna nail this coffin here very soon.
Edit: Or not. Yahoo's gametracker really fucking blows. Anyway...
Rawls is well on his way to breaking 100. Good for him.

Thomas Rawls is crushing people.

Wisconsin wakes up, 30-3.

This KSU quarterback is pretty elusive in the backfield. Not a bad player at all. Still don't see why they are ranked, though.

Akron with an INT.
Ball on the PSU side of the field. This game isn't over yet.

Just fyi, McNeese State lost 31-10 to JSU (the team MSU beat last week) in the 2013 playoffs for FCS. Not good Nebraska.
September 6th, 2014 at 2:51 PM ^
Someone should get on the phone and let Hazell know Rawls is gonna run it.

They are singlehandedly driving the increased popularity of the EPL

McNeese State near midfield after starting drive inside their 5. Neb DL not getting much pressure.

Hackenberg looks good? He's 20-35 for 252 yards 2TD's and 2INT's ... yet the commentators are slobbing all over his knob as if he's the second coming of Joe Montana. Pathetic. PSU running game IS worse than our's last year -- no doubt!
September 6th, 2014 at 3:03 PM ^
Just as I finished typing Hack threw a TD to Jesse James.

Just switched to McNeese State game...
September 6th, 2014 at 3:00 PM ^
Watching this Purdue-CMU game, I'm thoroughly convinced Thomas Rawls is better than any running back on our roster...That being said, I still hav high hopes for the development of Green and Smith.

McNeese State scores on a run but ILLEGAL FORMATION! DOH
September 6th, 2014 at 3:00 PM ^
Damn, McNeese St might've just blew it by a meaningless illegal formation.
September 6th, 2014 at 3:01 PM ^
Thomas is doing work!
September 6th, 2014 at 3:01 PM ^
What a bullshit call.
September 6th, 2014 at 3:01 PM ^
NU saved (for the time being) by a ticky-tack call.

September 6th, 2014 at 3:03 PM ^
I agree it was a correct call - just incidental to the play.
September 6th, 2014 at 3:02 PM ^
